I thought the Low End on Lick My Neck may have been too upfront/ overcompressed? Just my personal thoughts.

How did you know that ? ...'FG'...that's what I call her but not to her face though.....that would be WAY too dangerous!

It may be difficult to persuade her to stay though as when she is not chained up in her kennel she is either playing with thermonuclear devices, making her 'special sweeties' in her lab and now on the weekends being a wrestling diva preparing for the next Royal Rumble.

Actually i only managed to persuade her to work with Glow Crazy after she guest starred on one of the tracks of my more 'serious' work....a 5 album fantasy/sci-fi 'cinestory' project called 'Save The Earth'. She is a character in Part III and has her own track in Part IV as a trojan implanted into a neural net computer device that sustains and potentially causes the end of the world as we know it...she was perfect casting for the role

yes i hear you. kinda knew it wouldn't be to everyone's taste. it was deliberate though...experimenting and trying to push the boundaries a bit and make something to physically feel and rattle the brain on the dance floor while complimenting the 'ear worm' feel/melody of the track i was aiming for lol

Several members of the forum have been very kind to help with aspects of it all !

It has probably grown so big that i will hardly ever get it sounding 'perfect' or the way i want etc but really the most important part for me is the creativity and story telling rather than the technical aspects of the production. Sure the mixes could be improved etc but ya know ?........unless there is a very kind engineer with a lot of spare time of their hands to run through it I am content with it

 

FG may not be back....too big a star now.... but have been digging into the family ancestry and there may be a long lost distant relative to be discovered and invited to the studio...we'll see...fingers crossed !

 

I hope this relative is more pleasant-natured.
