What does that mean, Flirty Gertie is retiring? No more tracks with her?

 

@No Avenger you got to the end of the last track. I'm impressed !....Flirty Gertie as you may expect is a true diva. If you dont have all her contractual demands exactly as stated in the contract she flies off in a major strop and refuses to perform. Sadly she has quit the band. Glow Crazy ft FLirty Gertie shone bright for one small mini album and have now disappeared into the mist of musical history....sad but true

 

I recently gained some experience with such demands. Can become tricky.

Maybe Glow Crazy can shine again with or without someone else?

i dunno bands are never the same when the star leaves and they try to replace them...just look what happened with Paul McCartney and The Beatles
However you never know ....but Flirty Gertie is kinda irreplaceable

I usually just stick with the ego I have already...
on bad days the other ones start coming out... but I haven't named any of them yet.

7. Minerva Parkland (mellower indie rock - pretty much Everlasting Friday on a bunch of anti-depressants)

Minerva Parkland is newer (2016-ish). There is no Soundcloud for it. I only posted a few songs from it but under Driftwood Kingdom's soundcloud. The song "So Good" is actually a song from Minerva Parkland... and there's 3 different versions of it.

Yeah that's a lot to handle if you're serious about music but I don't really make music as much anymore. A lot of those songs are older. I post a few vault-dwellers here and there but I haven't really had the chance to make new material. I have plenty of ideas. A lot of them. Several song ideas sketched out as 30-60 second sketches but that's about as far as they went. The short songs you hear have full versions that I just haven't released. These alter egos were invented years ago when music was also a social thing to me and not entirely just a therapeutic thing I do at my leisure to stay in a productive mindset (an idle mind is indeed the devil's workshop). I created these soundclouds over the last year but they've been around much longer. Some have been around for over 10 years - since I was just a teenager.

Edit: Minerva Parkland has a soundcloud now.

Rumor has it that Flirty Gertie's agent stole all of the royalties from the Glow Crazy mini album and fled the country. Now, she is on the warpath and totally devoted to tracking him down wherever he may be hiding. Her latest publicity shot shows she is not a happy camper.
