I cannot find a way to understand programming in Bome's MIDI Translator- but all I need to do is remap notes and sustain pedal of one midi keyboard into other midi controls and also keystrokes to use as triggers for shortcuts, and also because of problems with the pitch and modulation wheel I need to filter out these informations completely; I can do that with midiox but midi ox keeps freezing every couple of hours.

 

I "fighted" with MIDI Translator for a while. Perhaps I can help you with an example.

Not the easiest one, if you can find a better MIDI tool (google TransMIDIFier for instance) I would go for it.

Edited: the keystroke feature is probably why you're using MIDI Translator. That discards all the plugins

Yes, the keystroke feature is what is necessary - I have not found any software that can do that, but filtering out certain data from input is beyond me - if you could say anything to point me to the right direction I would be grateful!

There's an impressive modular plugin with standalone version too called Plugue Bidule that can do that.
It's a modular plugin, a beast. It's my current "fight" when it comes to MIDI utils.
More visual than MIDI translator but still a bit complex.

TransMIDIFier is able to filter out what I need so combined with midi translator (cracked pro version, but if I get it working I will send a postcard to get the free serial number! https://www.bome.com/postcardware ) - it is working but the problem was the stability so only in few days time will I know if this setup is useful. Yes, it's extremely powerful, including limited but effective programming, and specially variables. And even sending Windows messages if I recall correctly.
