No chance to become a millionaire in the pure instrumental (Synth or Physical) music world. Just my opinion!

@MMJ2017 already gave some examples. In addition, I say games. Think about the industry and consider the instrumental music again.

It's genre dependant. For some genres like score/orchestral, jazz, game, you can probably make a (decent) living out of instrumental

 

Damn.. Even though, I'm an instrumentalist who plays 400 years old music. And I love it death.
Also, I'm sure in 100 years, people will play this music with the same amount of love I do.
Money, on the other hand, will have a complete different value in 100 years.
