I'm gonna let y'all decide as to which DAW I will be using from now on!
These are my faves! Also, I own the AKAI Pro MPD218 and a Korg NanoKey2!
Both of which are pictured here:

All suggestions are welcome, and the one with most votes will decide which DAW I will be using from now on!
Also please give advice as to why I should be using that particular software, and which would work best with my MIDI Controllers?

We need more information. Do you use it for live performance? For composing?

Which DAW are you most comfortable with?

Is your HW compatible with X DAW?

For me personally, nothing out there touches Reaper. Nothing. You won`t believe what lurks within its` whopping 11mb download. It simply refuses to crash on me. And you can tweak it to your hearts content (there`s really nothing it can`t do). Finally, it has the best user forums I`ve ever come across. To each his own of course... but I simply cannot say enough about Reaper. It really whips the llama's` ass...

If it were me to choose you'd be stuck with dream station for the rest of your days just for asking that question.

Don't ask to people to choose for YOUR daw!!!
    This is incredible!
Everybody have different tastes and different needs, this is why they are all different.
I think you should think about that and then pick it.

Why don't you try them all? You need to feel a connection with your DAW...
It's like asking others to choose the clothes you gonna dress for the next year/s.

Reaper is most versatile and most performance-efficient, develoment is most dynamic and swift due to small dev team and huge userbase,
BUT of those all 3, it's least suitable for music composing, and lacks any virtual instruments out of the box,

so really depends what you seek for and how you imagine the workflow to be,
you picked all the strong contenders, perhaps Bitwig Studio is worthy option too,

for ex. I prefer to use Reaper as I mainly work with audio, and I have favourite plugins and instruments to go for, so I don't really care if a DAW features anything usable, crucial for me is reliability, performance and functionality

    You don't choose DAW.
    The DAW chooses you.

she needs to eat more ice cream... then I might jump in the fray

can you put an option in your poll for "Do my homework, and choose my own DAW" and you have my vote,
you have a version of all of them at your disposal for evaluation at a site nearby

and it's still true.. if you want something done right.. do it yourself

  18. Go with Reaper...it has the smallest footprint and greatest flexability as well as least cost.

@korte1975 .. I photoshoped her foto as a goof, this is really what she looks like.

I am not trying to play the good guy here but I recommend you read on this
    https://www.today.com/health/lizzie-velasquez-ugliest-woman-video-changed-my-life-better-t41361

It’s not in her hand she looks the way she does.
Let’s rise above making jokes out of others pain and misery.

This amazing woman is still alive and she’s being dealing with bullying all her life.

I apologize to you in advance if I sound rude in anyway. Just wanted to make you aware that it’s a small world we live in and things we do or say could reach a huge impact on others.
