You often have good ideas and interesting sound quality ; as you present us sketches, not still finalized, I believe that a remark could be that they are still often with a "monolithic one way" quality, and that with added contrasts and silences (knowing that music is also in silences, which glorifies the notes and sounds) all this would be great works (this is only a personal opinion).

It depends on how much catchy you can sketch your song. Alien's songs are super catchy that the silence or every kind of break deprive the listeners of more enjoyment.

I've posted up loads of songs in my time here, however, while totally understanding your observations, these days I like to keep the finished pieces to myself, and off line, preferring to share early demo versions or like this one, the result of a couple of hours of first inspiration instead. Ultimately it comes down to being a practical thing.
During my past incarnation on AS, I made it known, and it's clearly no secret, I'm not an engineer, producer or general studio monkey, or even trying to be. I certainly don't have the ears for it. So I only write songs. I look at it like time (and probably my 'talent') is a finite resource, if I take three times longer failing at polishing rough diamonds, I'd have two songs I'd never write. That, for better or worse, is just the way it is and I am.

Will be able to spend some time today on this. Looking to reduce the wall of sound, get an arrangement sorted, give it some variety and flesh out the vocal melody.

Almost certain this will be the last version I post of this.
Cleared up the vocal guide a bit and added a small synth line in the chorus parts.
Just have to finish writing the lyrics, record, and move on.
