Hi all,
Downloaded the above (Mac version)from the sister site and followed the instructions including the terminal text in the event of any issues with Logic Pro X. Logic crashed and continued to do so after trying to manually validate the plug in. Also tried to disable SIP in recovery mode which was fine, but still no luck...I'm on 10.13.1 on a Mac Pro 2012 with maxed out RAM. My report log shows the following, for your consideration and potentially pointing me in the right direction. Thank you...

My original post explains that I used the terminal code contained within the info.txt which didn't work

 

Thank you for pointing that out...but not sure what this means and how it is to be rectified

 

Fire up Terminal
Paste in it: sudo codesign -fs -
Drag in the Terminal window the executable: iZVocalSynth2 located in > iZVocalSynth2AUHook.component/Contents/Resources/iZVocalSynth2.bundle/Contents/MacOS/

 

Thanks for the info but still doesn't work unless i missed something

 

the command should be sudo codesign -f -s - add a space after the last sign and drag the .bundle executable over terminal window

 

If no Command Line Tools installed, sudo command cannot be executed.

Installing Command Line Tools in Mac OS X:

1. Launch Terminal
2. Copy and paste in Terminal window the string: xcode-select —install
3. Hit Enter
4. Follow the instruction in the popup window

 

1 - Install .dmg
2 - reset permissions of the K'd .component and .vst with Batchmod
3 - replace the .component and .vst
4 - For issues with Logic Pro X, type this into your Terminal App:

sudo codesign -f -s - /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/iZVocalSynth2AUHook.component/Contents/Resources/iZVocalSynth2.bundle/Contents/MacOS/iZVocalSynth2

5 - Very important, restart your computer

Thank you but still no joy... Logic still crashes after following Shankar to the letter...

 

Try force au validation utility if all else fails.

but do this first:

Do this command in terminal
sudo codesign -f -s -
Hit space, and drag the component or vst into terminal window
Hit enter
Enter your PW
And it will replace existing sig
BUT if you haven't installed X-Code Tools, you might get prompted to do so.

 

Sorry mate, you forgot something during the instal
The last version from the sister site works very well with Logic Pro X 10.4.1 and High Sierra 10.13.5
Uninstal before and try again

 

Ah... So I'll need to update HSierra first... Thanks for the tip
