have you installed asian symbols support for unicode chars?
for XP: Control Panel - Language - language tab, turn on asian symbols support
also try Applocal, on your vocalistener screenshot i saw squares instead of japanese symbols, it means that your system is not adjusted to show japanese symbols and voiceroids might not work
it can export wav-files, voiceroid is for speech, vocaloid is for singing - 2 absolutely different programms

Now found the solution to the regional thing.
It's lying because it says insert the (Service Pack 2) compact disc. I don't have that. And then many hours later i found on google that you only have to use the (windows installation disc). The (Regional and Language Options) makes my life harder because it only wants (service pack 2) and not the (windows installation disc). I had to figure that out by myself in the end.

 

i said - it's absolutely different programms, Voiceroid technology belongs to AHS Software, Vocaloid to Yamaha
All voiceroids are unique characters except Yuzuki with is also Vocaloid released by AHS Software
Voiceroid can't use vocaloid DB's, and Vocaloid editor can't use voiceroid db's.

 

It would be better if voiceroid was a job plugin for vocaloid like vocalistener. Voiceroid has the AITalk engine.

 

AFAIR voiceroids needs for XP SP3, i have installation disk with XP uncluded SP3, so for me it works normally
also you can try Aplocal or NTLEA (small applications) to force japanese symbols

 

I use [(H XP64_x CD Drive] to go back and forth reinstalling ([] Install files for East Asian languages). And think i need to restart my computer between the changes.

And then uninstalling Aplocal or NTLEA. And after that getting a virtualization program so that the VOICEROID is within a virtual machine so it does not change the language of my real computer. And then it's a exe file inside a exe file. Then it is portable and can't access and change things in regedit. And i will double click a reg file to restore my original (Regional and Language Options).

I would need the latest version of vmware workstation and a newly freshly installed clean windows xp x86 with no other programs installed expect VOICEROID and then virtualize the exe file to have it's own regedit register and how much ram it should access because there are programs that can't runned on computers that has more than 2gb ram. And then 16-bit applications that says:
The image file program.exe is valid, but is for a machine type other than the current machine.

And i don't want my real computer to switch between japanese and english keyboard layouts automatically by itself when clicking between windows and programs.

For example in notepad it's english keyboard layout and in firefox it's japanese layout. When i switch english to japanese layout. It happens only on the window i am viewing. The other windows are still english but only one is japanese. When i change the language from EN to JP in the language bar. It should happen in all windows and programs at once/simultaneous. Annoying.

 

strange things you are talking, i just turned on 2 options in control panel - language and regional standart - language tab (then turn on 2 options there), restart my PC, that's all, after that my voiceroids works perfectly (but i'm typing english characters in programm, english words or japanese romaji)
with win7 on my laptop i didn't changed anything, it's just work)

mine was Win XP SP3, so it's better to find some OEM new CD and reinstall WIndows)
