Regarding mixing, it is not a good modern mix. Reminds me of 80s metal. The snare sounds loud. This should be remixed and remastered to get translated well accross other systems.
About arranging, a little scattered (no intro,...) , no organization in presenting the ideas, and no defined melody. ( Needs rearrange to establish this)
    About techniques, that rocks... :metal::metal:

Despite this not being the style of music that I generally listen to, fucking nice work, man! Guitar is amazing! Though I do have to agree with metaller about the snare being too loud, also the kick drum doesn't cut through the mix. Toms and cymbals sound amazing, though! Thank you for sharing!

I agree with @metaller on the mixing and arrangement feedback.

But truth be told, I love it! Woohoo! Wish I could play like that! Awesome work! :like:

I like your rhythm guitars and the solo is really great (I guess you could have played it even longer?).

Awesome guitar(s) man. Perhaps a bit of tweaks in the mixing like some skilled users have advised.

About the structure of the composition and arranging, while I agree with @metaller I also think that this isn't supposed to be polished in that area, at least yet (work in progress, idea,...). Not sure, though, you will tell.

Hell yeah, we metalheads are in a row lately

Just need a better mix. And may be a mastering after that, but not mandatory.
Instruments are "clean" to start with.

VERY nice song and playing !!! :metal:

he nailed it on the drums ... other than that, a rip roaring good time...reminds me of more like 80's metal...
sort of the transition from hard rock to metal.. than the more recent metal sounds... which I don't tolerate as well..

when I listen to this.. images of big hair keep coming back... :bleh:

I really like the classic sound. This reminds me of a band called X Japan somehow. I don't know enough about this genre to speak on it but I like

@Herr Durr I was about to ask you to show some love for the recent fine metal tracks of the users.
As you requested several times..

I also like that 80s sound, BTW, it's what I heard first.

    Cheers friend.

I like it why does it have to be modern sounding?
Peronally i really dont care for that soundi guess alot of us older guys is thinking the same.
I think todays metal sounds way overprocessed no dynamics at all not to mention the "snap to grid" almost impossible to play live.
That is killing metal as when people go and see the band they will be so dissapointed so in the end it may be like those "dance music guys/girls" they all "perform" hmm?? to playbacked tracks using unplugged guitars like One Direction does.

    Intro?
    Why?

No need to follow the basic song "formula" Satch and Vai has done this sort of songs before and it have worked.

I like it when people just dont do what everyone else does.

And there is a melody if you listen and it is repeating a few times but it is not a strong melody.

Just my opinion of course but i am so tired of todays metal players who do recording with 100+ tracks and edit the rythm so it sound like a bloody robot.
Where is the FEEL in that music?

@Guitarmaniac64 lemme put it this way, I'm not in my 20s anymore, but I think a modern drum sounds would be better suited to the guitars. And it doesn't mean to squeeze it to death, although a lot of bands do this, I'll give you that.
