    Wait - "I have been a professional musician and songwriter for 51 years." - That explains **A lot** to me ...

    I have been in the IT software business for 35+ years and are lost when it comes to emerging technologies that top-ten companies invest billions of $$$ in today. Maybe we are running on outdated race-tracks and the rest of the competing "Markets" runs on new, modern tracks, breaking new grounds.

    Our knowledge is simply outdated and it's time to hand over to the younger generations to take care of the needs of future mankind ...

    I only wanted to promote a song that a young friend of mine has co-written, that - by the way- is released by Warner Music.

    How old are you? I chose not to listen.....my prerogative. You asked for opinions, and got them. They speak for themselves. Great way to promote yourself. Does your friend know how you are promoting this?

    It was a somewhat joking comment on MY opinion of the repetitive trash considered to be hits. No philosophy intended. I was making fun of myself as well as the music industry. Sorry you missed it.......it was funny. Apparently you had to be there........

    Thank you, but I have been very fortunate and live very comfortably. If you lose the attitude, you might be successful as well.

    I'm definitely not one of the auhors/writers - but a close friend of mine is - reason why I posted here.

    The song was released 18th of May and I think it has done OK this far -- considering the performing artists world-wide (unknown) status .

    The song sounds quite good to me, even without the genre being my cup of tea.

    Also I get the feeling almost none of the credit would go for you, if I've understood half-well your shady comments.

    So modern music fail for you and congratulate the people who have done most of good work for me.
