  5. That thing is cool though it would be hard still to pull the trigger on anything B word.Someone gave me a B compressor three years ago and I still haven't even plugged it in on principle. But then again I'm a bit nuts.

I have many Behringer Hardware for years, and they never failed me. I agree that some stuff has a poor building quality, but they work, as long you don't have gorilla hands, and take care of it. My 2 BCR2000 have almost 10 years, and they are as new, not even a scratch.
I know some top clubs here in Berlin that actually trust more in the Behringer compressor than in some other more expensive ones...

weird topic, are we going to discuss Behringer?

I've downgraded from a Rme interface too a Behringer interface,
it was necessary because a years-long collaboration ended, (from both sides combined with preventive detention and being totally insane on his side)

to make a story short, I had to buy a new interface for my home studio and Behringer delivered.(turns out acquiring Midas was a great idea)
For me, it was the first time to use anything of the Behringer brand in my audio recording path,
I've used their headphone amplifier for years, and a Behringer bcf2000.

once a month I shake the bcf upside down so all the tobacco & cigarette ash comes out.
this ting never let me down from the start. ( I did hear of DOA faders back then)

altogether, Behringer full product range is enough to make some decent music without any significant compromise in quality.

Why they didn't choose to rebrand their product ranges is beyond my scope,
marketing wise midas had a better reputation in my surroundings.

  8. I guess that I'll plug it in later and see what is up with it. I think it is the MDX1200 which supposidly the same cicuit as a DBX 160. Maybe it works, maybe it doesn't.

I've seen it too, really good movie.

it starts a bit "wtf" but quickly takes you where it's meant to.

von trier needs total attention, and gaspar noe is a genius; the only problem I think is his movies are too long,
i.e, 'enter the void' didn't need to be that long, so was 'irreversible'

I haven't see climax yet, though the trailer looks good.
'love', was average and of few interest imo

Oh, so you also got a Behringer Composer as a gift? I do sometimes use it, and I modded it a little. It's OK if you use it lightly...

    Sorry, I just read it's MDX1200. A different compressor.

  11. Nope, it's the AUTOCOM MDX 1000. Assembled in China. It powers up but I don't have the juice to dig and switch tonight in back of my desk. Just gonna chill with a doobie, brother, and play some D-15M. S'bin a longish feeling day.
