But wow that drum editor has probabilities. And you can make lanes lengths different. I forgot the term. So some drums do just magic on 8, while another one has length of 7.

Gotta love the new "retard" option. What language is that?

$149 upgrade price for v3.5 users is fucking excessive , i never use that sampleone thing :trashing:

The biggest surprise, it is still grey hoooray.
Not really impressed. I expected more. Yes the chord track is nice. But I would prefer some improved multicore support, track templates or pre fader metering.
    No upgrade for me.

C'mon guys, just one Import song/session data worth it. This thing will save you so much time and energy...
And I'm also never used Sample One and Impact before, but now they're pretty useful, so, I'm going to use it in every session ;)
And all those little thing like new mixer's look - that's awesome too.

Stop whining. It's a great update. Definitely not another "groundbreaking lower zone thing". :hillbilly:

Nobody mentioned Ripple editing?! Why they didn't market that better, it's pretty big feature if you ask me.

€148 for an upgrade from v3? That is merely insane. I'm sure they smell the big money now. And thats not good!!

Ohh sorry did not know about the white or prefeder metering. I have v3 but on my studio PC I use cubase. And to be honest on my mobile rig where i have installed my v3 i use most of the time reaper i own too, because i record with my moblie rig (mics) and reaper is unbeatble for that. Thought maybe v4 could replace my cubase. But to be honest its still far away to do that.

Like someone allready said. seems like Presonus want to make the daw for small homerecording producers. Nothing wrong with that ...

Presonus is having a problem with v4 licenses. Everyone who purchased the upgrade is getting a license error so we have to wait until Presonus figures out the problem before anyone can use it.

It's been about four years that I'm happily using S1: Can't wait to give a try to this new version.

I'm pretty neutral here about pros&cons of this new version but I'd like to give credit to some users who alerted us of this event coming a while ago.
They got their fair (and possibly unfair) share of criticism.
