    Hello Friends,

"Dreamer" - A brand new uplifting dreamy cinematic instrumental melodic track attempt from me. Do give it a listen when you can. I hope some of you will like it.

    Cheers

quite enjoyable, that snare shotgun is out of control, too loud.
    signs of ear fatigue.
:cheers:time to chill and mix again another day :chilling:

Very nice track with some 80s aftertaste.

As suggested in the previous comment, the snare might be a tad too loud maybe?

Nonetheless, very well done. Reminds me the Stranger Things theme which was cool.

The beginning is really great, what chords are you using? I was envisaging a vocal track which didn't materialize, but this piece has a lot of potential

A bit harsh so please forgive me ...:bow::bow:

This style of making music is for children to understand. Nothing special that shows your artistry. Going about in this fashion will keep you in this level. Lacking strong forms, intentions, harmonic structures, sound choices, ... .

I suggest pausing for breath for months and studying, then you'd see the favorable outcome. :mates:

Nice chilled track. I agree about the snare, it sounds more like a kick so maybe change it completely. I think you also need to beef up the bottom end as the kick is really weak and I can't hear any bass.

If I remember right you said in the other thread, that those 80's music in your area differs from those of the western hemisphere, so I won't comment on sound and mix.

It's a nice tune, fits to the others you already made and I start to sense your own special style. Keep it up.

This is not insightful or helpful, you just literally bashed him and told him to quit.

We just gave you a two week suspension and you promised @SAiNT you will behave, but reading through your recent activity nothing has changed!. Im publicly talking to you because this will be your final warning here on Audiosex, before we walk you to the door and off the property. And to make sure of whatever you left behind be removed, to extinguish the troll enterprise you employed. FINAL WARNING!!!!

@Baali Soda l do apologize for this, and keep it up its sounds good, pending greatness.

Sorry my lovely mod, but you let other members affect your judgments about me.

I want to hear complicated music by AS's members and make lots of threads for that but you think I'm bashing people. I never do that. My intention is only complicated music.:mates:

PS: Where did I tell him to quit? I just invited him to more thinking and studying. If I don't tell him, no one would and he'll do the same. We're a community and are here to raise each other not praise.:winker:

Ok buddy, I don't mean this aggressive or offending by any means, but this is just what you want. It's ok if you do so, really, but please, let all the people here make the music they want and don't talk them down. They are all putting their heart and soul in it and whether you like their music or not, you should respect them.

Do you remember my thread about Pandiatonicism? Not a smart way of composition.

If you don't train a soul, it would stick to Pandiatonicism and never let you go higher and higher ... :winker:

so what you're saying is that if you would just shut up, baali soda would continue to create music that many people (including me) enjoy listening to. sounds like a wonderful outcome. so please, for the good of everyone, feel free to comment about "complicated music" in threads that are about "complicated music". don't pollute threads where an artist has shared his/her latest creation with your irrelevant drivel.

Thank you so much everyone for spending your precious time to listen to my music and on top of it, providing your valuable feedback and very encouraging comments:bow:

@foster911 - I get your points, mate. As I have explained earlier in another thread of mine, I am still learning this process of creating music. My style has been rooted to 80s era (albeit in my own way). Hence, I try to recreate some of it via my musical attempts (however amateur/flawed it might sound to some). Besides, I don't want to create something that I, myself, not gonna listen to, frequently(in this case any complicated music stuff that I am not much aware/follower of).

For me, music making is purely an hobby that takes the pressure off of my day job (FWIW, I am an Assistant Professor working for a reputed Private University in Southern India). Making money out of it was never my primary goal. Saying that, my works do find decent number of supporters via bandcamp, though. :like:

It is a beautiful track
It captures the synthwave sound well & on point.
Some general suggestions if you don't mind
: sidechaining the bass & other elements of your track to the drums/groove to taste can benefit this genre
making the elements of your track mono lets say below 200hz can give clarity to your bass & melody/pads when are playing together
if you use reverbs as a send try to eq & compress them to taste :winker: eqing a reverb makes it fit the track frequency wise & compressing it makes it to "glue" the elements of your track.
The drums can always benefit from some kind of transient shaping or play with the decay, sustain & release time if you'e using drum hits in a sampler.
use an eq on your master buss in m/s mode to "clean stuff", a vintage style eq to give it some magic, set the release time of your limiter to match the tempo of your track

Always follow your intuition on anything you do in life & music & thank you for sharing your track
