I personality don't get the worldwide attraction to the whole spectical. It might be a symptom not unlike Stockholm Syndrome where those held captive against their will find empathy towards the ones that have brought them harm. The history of that family has rendered cruelty and pain to so much of the world and they would continue to do so if they could. If nobody in the family makes a grand (I edited a typo, it had read brand, also apropos, maybe even more so) gesture of relinquishing all properties and money held plus makes an apology for their past wrongs then they are complicit as are living buoyed by the horrid acts of the past. I enjoy the good of England, the people as a whole and their rich artistic culture, but I find it distasteful to almost pray to monarchs as some kind of living Gods which they are far from being.

God save The Queen, I mean it, man.

The Queen is from a bygone era, as a white male born in the 70s and raised by a father with repugnant racial views I thought it was great for the old establishment to take a haymaker like that.
