Are there any users of Softube Console 1 (Hardware) having problems with its latest software update on Windows 7 ? The latest Softube update,2.4.58, gets stuck on "Authenticating Hardware ...Please Stand by." This problem is occurring only on our Windows 7 x64 systems and on two different computers. If I downgrade to previous update, everything works fine. On Windows 10, we don't have this problem with the Softube update. Anyone else experiencing the same or similar problems? I contacted Softube about it and its Support Team is trying to find out what the problem is.

EDIT: This thread is not about problems with Windows updates. It is about Softube updates to legitimate users of Console 1 Hardware.

@reliefsan and @DJK Thanks for your respective responses but I was not referring to "Windows" updates. I am talking about the update to legit Softube Console 1 software for the hardware. Nothing to do with Windows updates or Windows 10. The problems both of you describe are the "reverse" of my problem and therefore, off topic here. I just wrote HARDWARE in bold letters to avoid further confusions.

I am yet to find a motherboard and CPU that doesn't support Windows 7. Just clarifying... You haven't done your homework well. You get an F from me. :)

@DJK and @SineWave you both are off topic here. This thread is about Softube's Console 1. I will ask you kindly to start a thread of your own if you want to discuss something else. Thank you both.

I hate bumping an off-topic issue, but the claim is just BS... "AORUS X7 Intel USB 3.0 Driver 3.0.0.19 for Windows 7 64-bit", given that the USB3 drivers were always the only bit not supported on win7....

@DJK Thanks. I appreciate what you did. I m just trying to keep this thread on topic and find a solution to this problem and Softube is taking way too long.
