    Lots of confusion in your post. The answer you've given to Nick12 has already been given (post by Altoid). I think patcher is a simpler way to do it, but I've also explained how the midi input and output of FLS work, indeed.
    The third party tool, as explained, is only for recording the output of an arpeggiator from one track to another in the piano roll. Not at all for using scaler.

    I disagree, it's pretty straight forward. However, I'll clarify any doubts you may have.

    So you 're saying you understood my post? Otherwise, how could you tell someone already same what I'm saying? Also, I didn't read all the answers as I'm getting ready to go to work, nor did I said which ones were confusing.

    Again, disagree. Using patcher is a work around, involves more steps, isn't as flexible as routing the midi ports directly (let's say you want the MIDI data to go to several instruments, would you have them them all inside your patcher? Would you mix the levels inside patcher? Add FX for different instruments inside patcher? Sounds like a chaotic mess. I like to be efficient, keep things clean and organized, go from A to B in a straight line, not curves.

    Good for you. What's with the need to attack another user's answer? Is there something incorrect? Nope. Is it straightforward to the point without pointless tangents? Yes. Does it have a visual how-to guide? Yes. Does it have a video tutorial explaining how to solve the OP's problem? Yes, I took the initiative to make a video myself.

    I don't really understand some of you guys, for real. This isn't a pissing competition, it's a forum where people ask & offer help. Everything else is just egos & other pointless things which I don't want to participate in.

    I don't know what attack you're refering to, simple answer, I couldn't have guessed that you didn't read the post at all and just gave answers that were already given all while saying that they hadn't been given...That's what a "redundant answer" (not a very nice comment of yours to call other answer saying exactly what you say a redundant answer) is. Yours. One that has already been given. No dice my friend.:wink:
    You can put several instruments in patcher. Using more tracks in FLS in a ressource killer (specially for a thing like an arpeggio or scaler). Limited slots of fx in each tracks, not in patcher (easier to setup and save)...Etc, etc, etc. To each his own, I guess. I always go for simpler more efficient and yet more flexible when I can. I hate to complicate things or limit myself.

    Same to you.

    TBH I find the addition of the video very nice. Good illustration of a few answers OP has been given already.

    @pine

    Thank you very much for your answer! I really appreciate that!

    Aaah, I see. Yeah, you have to do whatever what works for you. Sometimes changes are good. I don't know if it will ever happen with me, but I can imagine that at one point you maybe will have enough of something and needs something else. Also one thing that comes to my mind that could be very helpful when you can work out with different daws are collaborations. I know that for example in FL Studio you can send flps to each other. I'm also sure that you can do this in the other daws aswell, but then probably in a different name?

    Exactly. With cubase you can also easily share your work. Several daws under your belt indeed make potential collabs easier.
    Another thing is that in my opinion some daws accomplish some tasks better than others. I'm more confortable producing in FLS or Ableton, but imo recording or mixing for various reasons can be smoother in Cubase, Reaper or Samplitude (or Harrison Mixbus). Editing, well it depends which task...
    Finally the more daws you use, the more you're confortable with daws in general, and going from to another becomes easier and easier and you just need to read the manual or ask for advices on forum for the small things that distinguish them from one another, and not the many points that all daws have in common, and they do have a lot of common grounds, and that you end up doing with your eyes closed on any daws.
