Hey guys having a problem and this just started recently and has never happen before when I close a session in S1 Pro 2.5 my XP (SP3) PC freezes,...mouse freezes,Task Mgr doesn't work everything is at a standstill and I have to reboot the PC every time I close a session in S1

So I revert to S1 v 2.0.7 and still had the same problem..
I finally found the problem is was Waves All Plugins Bundle v9r7-R2R..
So I uninstalled Waves and sure enough the issue went away with S1 not freezes up..

Before I re-install the latest V of Waves again...Has anyone here have some kind of issue with Waves in Studio One??

Note: The first time I open Waves I tried the new Abby Road Plug REDD and thats when the problem started and S1 started to freeze and thats when everything went down hill..

I never had this freeze issue with previous Version of Waves until now...
Also when I open a new Song in S1 and save the new Song with no Plugins and close S1 my PC would just freeze up..Weird..

I like the whats in the new v of waves but I wonder if its the new Abbey Road Plug REDD thats doing this??

Anyone having Issues with Waves..?

 

I have the same problem, since every version of Waves 9.

It is a graphics issue, reletad to your graphic card or driver.

The problem only appears with newer Waves plug-ins in the bundle.
It freezes both S1 and also Cubase for me.

I could not got any Waves 9 bundle to work, so I use Waves 8, that works flawlessly.

I might try re-installing Latest v of Waves to see what happens.. Probably will have the same results....Oh well..

 

For me, also the latest W9v7 release has the same issue

I can't do a lot about it, because I have a laptop, so I can't change the graphics card.

 

i have just installed Waves.All.Plugins.Bundle.v9r8-R2R (with the repacked crack) and did a quick test picking random waves plugin as inserts etc, tried at least a dozen of different ones, so far no problems at all

using waveshell, S1 v2.5, win7 all three are 64bit with nvidia drivers v310.90

i can confirm i had S1 freezing with r7 release, that happened randomly at the moment when i was insering a waves plugin
