Can the Producers out-mix the engineers?

I am very excited to announce that I am hosting a mix competition for you guys and gals here on audio sex community platform. As its the weekend and the suns out I thought Id give everyone something to look forward to / participate in for the weekend and if i wasn't hosting the DAMN thing id love to actually participate in it. The good thing about participating as well is that there are some good incentives and opportunity to get creative and show off your skills.

RULES

1. Submit on this thread preferably via sound cloud upload but other audio submissions welcomed

2. You are allowed to be as creative as your want add instruments , add your own voice , add samples extend it and add a verse lol , However dont do to much because you only have 24 hours and at the end of the day I care about the sonics and how it sounds together, ITS A MIX COMPETITION!

3. No louder than - 1 db peak level , and i don't care about the RMS so don't squash it to all eternity its a very vibey track so treat it with finesse you can do a light master on it

4. Be Creative , Stand Out
5. Treat this competitions like you are going into battle , don't let anyone out mix you !
6. Submit by 5pm New York time on Sunday the 22nd of April 2018! About 24 hours!
7. Name your track "Qvon Ft IZAK- Gangsta Trap - Your Name's Submission"
8. HAVE FUCKING FUN !

SUMMARY
If the winning mix is good enough I may use it in the official release of the album if the song makes the cut and you will get a bigger pay check. Who knows, I may every use you for some more mixes on my upcoming project for the summer so no quick mixes lack of effort mixes , put your time and effort and express your creativity into it i will be able to tell ! If i only get 2 good mixes and the rest are super trash or with no effort i wont hand out the third place prize. I don't care if you're professional or just started have a good go and try to sleigh Goliath , you go David ; ).

are you confused about something ?

 

you're not really going to put someone's mix of mp3 stems on a commercial product are you? it's really hard to get a good sounding mix from mp3 files. any processing you do suffers from aliasing artifacts.

 

Well i did think about that but thought this was the quickest way to upload them give me half hour ill upload the wav stems .
P.S even if you did win the mp3 mixed version was never going to be the final mix

@Master Q Sorry i just took in the 24hr deadline, and i can't make it due to my work...but i will still mix later it, just cause lol

 

i like this guy very observant lol and anyone can enter and most likely paypal it quick easy and free

 

lol i mean the hint was in the title but yes submit it i might make a special exceptions who know you might win the effort prize win yourself that 5 bucks enough to fill up your bong with one shot
