Hi All
I'm having problems installing Waves (any recent version inc the 11GB one). I install Waves Central as instructed in the instructions. I run Waves Central and select install OFFLINE and in the instructions I am told to select *\waves etc but there is no such directory on my PC. Please tell me what I am doing wrong or I may have to jump off a bridge!

I got the same crazy problem.
I uninstalled my older release....deleted everything relating to waves etc etc from my registry..
And yet......i see this annoying message>>.."No installable products found"

tried every directory ,without luck.
Wouldnt mind coz im not a lover of waves.
But h comp is gonna be sorely missed if i cant solve this...

hi, the directory is in rar file.

 

The directory (folder) that holds the installation files should be "Waves" and, it does not matter where it is located.

I keep it on the desktop of my internet computer and download any new or updated plugins directly to this folder which in turn, updates that particular install overall. This way I only need the most current patch when Waves updates the Waveshell dll files.

 

Hi, the *\Waves directory referenced here is right where you first unpacked the final .rars to. It is (at that point) NOT to be confused with a Waves folder inside the C:\Program Files (x86) folder. So navigate to the location where you unpacked the install files, look for the Waves\Install\ folder in there, and target that. I was confused at first, as you are, but once you see it the install really is very clear + smooth.

I managed to install it on my windows 10 laptop, but my DAWs (FL Studio, Digital Performer, Presonus Studio One, Cakewalk) cannot see them, Only shows the WavesShell, but no plugins load in. I can run the standalone apps, but nothing inside my DAWs. Help.

That i neeed to look elsewhere for the plugins etc etc....

I have some trouble installing waves, I wonder if anyone has gone through the same problem as me...(I've been trying to install it for more than a week, otherwise I would not ask)

I erased an old version of waves and cannot install the new one. It messed up with the mssvcp.140.dll. I believe Studio one uses that dll as well as waves' and when I try to install Waves Central it doesn't allow me because the system got f*****d up when I got rid of the old version of waves:

'waves central.exe system error
the program can't start because msvcp140.dll is missing from your computer. try reinstalling the program to fix this problem'

I cannot install the microsoft visual c++ (2015) library=mssvcp.140.dll in any way. I erased it with Revo and with the control panel and tried to reinstall it but so far I can't make it

I would be very grateful if anyone could help me with this mess

I also copied to copy the dll from another computer to windows/system32 and windows/syswow64, also cleaned the registry and all the residual stuff that comes with the w.complete installer all around the o.s....

Personally, I resigned. I ended up being able to install a product. Already a huge success after a while. E.g. Infected Mushroom. But after completed installation from Waves Central and clicking OK Infected Mushroom disappeared from "Installed products" (to the right). OK then I ended Waves Central, applied patch, started Waves Central, same thing. No installation. Studioone recognizes Waveshell dll's but shows no waves plugin. Needless to say, I also did uninstall, delete all teh waves folders (also programdata\waves). deleted the waves folder in hklm and hkcu, no success. It's not working.

 

tha's not good either, i wonder if someone else has/ had the same problem and could share a solution

in my case, the only thing i found out is that the msvcp140.dll is used by waves and s1 (two dll versions with the same name) and when installing waves central for the second time it fks the system because it cannot understand that s1 was already there. maybe i should deinstall s1, reinstall waves central and re install s1 again...i recently installed profools too, just to have a go...it also could be the problem...it's so wonderful to waste so much energy with this nonsense...when i was in my 20's i was able to make 1 to 3 songs per week, now i am becoming a computer technician with no creativity

I can understand your frustration, because I am also frustrated (never wasted so much time with no result) - but let's be honest here. Installation has usually never been as easy as today. Click -> where's ur vst folders -> (32/64/vst2/3/aax) -> Go -> Done.

 

I shall ask some Radium gentlemen such as Deepzone and Sandor if they agree

Waves Complete 2018.04.11 WiN Patch By V.R rip did not work. If you tried that try another one

 

Well I used the 2018-04-16 version as well, not working. IDK. Must be something specific. Maybe it does not like junctions (ntfs links), which I use.

Navigate back to orognal unrar location and select installers.
