@NYCGRIFF sorry i'm late to this thread! I used to make my own .ncint files for Kontakt all the time, until they changed to the new version (with Native Access integration). Instead of reading through 328 pages in this thread to see if someone else asked ... is there a NEW way to add to library pane in the new version of Kontakt? or do we need to revert to the old version to do this?

yeah sorry... I'm just trying to confirm that no one's figured out yet how to add kontakt libraries without serial numbers
into the LIBRARY pane after Kontakt 5.6.6

for example... Red Room Audio Saga Acoustic Trailer Percussion (You posted a wallpaper yesterday)
The only way to add that library (that i know of) to Kontakt in the library pane, is by downgrading to Kontakt 5.6.6
then upgrading back to Kontakt 5.8.0 (which is the current version)

is that what I need to do? OR has someone figured out a way to manually add libraries in the new version of Kontakt?

Okay, I got it. To be honest with you, I have yet to add any libraries to Kontakt in quite some time. So, I am not able to answer your main question. (By the way, it's sounds like a real drag having to downgrade and then return to the latest version). Perhaps, there are a few folks here (particularly, @RainManMac) who might be able to give you some answers. Additionally, there are also other folks who frequent this forum who may also be helpful. Hopefully, after reading these messages, someone will respond.

@Tommee Profitt, hi there. I saw your question. As far as I can figure out the Native Access integration is prohibitive of adding libraries in a straightforward way. Also, although NI state the new Kontakt 5.8.0 will work with any library I am not sure that is really the case. The latest release does appear to load a tad faster than previous builds, but what the heck. I would suggest you use 5.7.3 and temporarily downgrade to 5.6.5/5.6.6 as loading older libraries may incidentally require. Of any working Kontakt 5 installation, keep backup registry keys (= exported) at hand.

P.S. Kontakt 5.8.0 (from sister site) does come with a neat "Add Library" workaround feature added but I can't get that to work. Therefore sticking with 5.7.3 (which I am quite happy with so far).
