Didn't sleep last night (wife was snoring as usual), felt a bit off, got up at 2.00am and spent a few hours being creative, but not feeling 100%. Has anyone else found that being on a low ebb somehow inspires your creative juices to flow?

There's no way i'm doing the same tonight, making hot chilli con carne for tea, plus a large tumbler of bells whiskey for supper, means I shall be asleep by 9.00pm, sweating the cold out!

A tip: Choose a warmer (tropical) country for living!
  LOL! ...if you like mosquitos + rainy season or not,
    is another story.

When i feel sick, it helps to kinda improvise for a few seconds and go from there.
If i had a high fever, i usually just relax.

High fever might provoke delirium..a state of mind full of paradoxes and ungrounded planes of reality.
I can't think of a better way of starting something purely free, unconstraint from that routine which pivots on the echoes of the well-known gestures, the recalls.
Lying on bed is pure intimacy too.
I think that transposition and intimacy are helpful when creating ;)

When my wife starts snoring,I push smoothly her shoulder to turn her on her side and not on her back. Also,I always lock doors and windows and fill my ears with plenty of cotton.I never drink alcohol.
Creativeness comes to me every Saturday 12 o'clock at noon when nobody else is at home and the sun shines.I cannot compose music with noises in my house or cloudy weather out of my window.
