Aha i love Kook and his "soulful/less" music rants. Btw i never feel comfortable when people entitle themselves to define what a specific art is and what it's not.
Sometimes one just wanna have fun, and loses oneself in a "meaningless" but yet joyful track while another likes intricate arrangements and deep composition
in order to feel something else. Both have their place.

To be back to this track, AV you know i like your music (maybe i have poor taste lol) keep it up

 

Please don't misunderstand my statement. I also make electronic music and like it as form of expression. I just meant this track could be better with some human elements inside. *yes*

That intro punched me straight in the face..the kick is nice and punchy..although I think the intro could use some more ethereal sound effects like highly reverbed wooshes and kicks and things like that. Also, when the beat drops, the reverb is too high on the synth..turn it down when the kicks in and put some groove elements in the background, autopanning shakers, clicks and pops that will give the song some more groove. The phat synth in the second part of the song is sick I love it..the song in general is just missing some details and touches here and there..use more automation to keep the listener interested.
