latest H00K crack

    I think I pretty much wrecked my 10.10.5 machine with the latest Softube and Eventide terminal cracks, so I think I can live without these updates

    provided I am not so well-versed in Terminal, how would I go about reversing the crack?

    the process consists of running these commands in Terminal

    - Run Installers
    - Copy corresponding patched libstXX++.6.0.9 + alias to Applications/ilok/
    - Open up terminal and hit the following commands, one at a time:
    sudo chmod 775 /Applications/ilok/libstXX++.*
    sudo chown 0:0 /Applications/ilok/libstXX++.*
    sudo codesign -fs - /Applications/ilok/libstXX++.6.0.9.dylib

    would anybody be so kind and enlighten me on how to undo these and go back to the previous state?

    lol, just trash the ilok folder in Applications.

    This sounds dreadful! Where did you get such a thing? Might want to inform others on this type of thing

    It is the well known™ OpenSSH method to crack some old iLok protected plugin.
    (BTW: working great here in my elCapitan/Audio Station)
    Many Mac users in this forum are already aware of it and still use it :)
