I dont think it matters that much...most people dont care about the "behind the scene" content....they just want the goodies!
as for those who are really interested in the whys and wherefore, they'll either understand better (which is a good
thing as it will stop too much bollocks from spreading any further) or that will confirm what they already knew/assumed....either
way everyone benefits..you took down the 4th wall and people should now even be able to see through the fifth one

The truth is nobody actually knows and that is the way it is supposed to be. Let us take comfort in the fact that there are incredibly talented guys (and gals) out there that allow us to try before we buy. To Team AiR and all the other teams out there we say THANK YOU

Don't forget to thank the suppliers, with them none of this would be possible.

    Yes, that's ridiculous indeed.

If the manual is not included, go to the developer's page, and download it from there.
How hard could that be? :grooves:

There might be some cases where the manual is not available on the website, but I think these are exceptions.

First, if someone opens an account here with the login “QUADRA” does not mean at all that he is the QUADRA from ASSiGN. I also can open an account with QUADRA. So don’t get too excited here.

Second why everybody believes that ASSiGN is from Japan? Only because they “greet from Japan” and because they use Japanese cartoons with their installers? Come on… Would YOU make so easily public from which country you are? And you are even not from a cracker group (just a guess). Wouldn’t it be a nice strategy for a release group to pretend being from a certain country and make up all the stuff? Probably ASSiGN are from Europe or Russia or whatever.

Also looking at the NFO writings I may make the assumption (regarding writing style and grammar) that they don’t use the typical “Asian English”. (Don’t ask me for examples please. It makes me tired. But after living in Asia for a while I think I may tell.)

Talking about NFO writing: reading several NFOs from TEAM AiR it could be also that they are from Germany. They use somehow typical “German English” with typical style and grammar Germans sometimes use. I can even find German idioms that have been translated in a "1 to 1 manner". And idioms can vary between countries, however, meaning the same thing.

Regarding GOUDA: I thought he is a Synchrosoft programmer. To me it sounded like that he embedded his nickname into the programming code of the Synchrosoft protection. AiR then made fun of him because he must kill himself after they cracked the Dongle.

Last, it is known that ASSiGN are just couriers (as AiR are). The “real” crackers deliver their work to them and ASSiGN or AiR are releasing them into the web. Check out AiRs NFOs => "SUPPLIER: TEAM AiR". They also say it is a “fine AiR release” and not a “fine AiR crack”.

    Just my 10 cents.

Look at your post from 06/11! Sherlock Holmes! And those comments really do not contribute to anything here except not appreciating others opinion. So be more constructive here. Making fun of people that are trying to contribute to a discussion is the most lame thing I can imagine. Especially I cannot see any critical contribution from you here. So why not just read the stuff here and shut up? So annoying...

and you sound pretty edgy chappy for someone who's just got here...you come here like you finally found the holy grail and want everybody to acknowledge the damn fact..what do you expect...a shiatsu maybe!

now let me be Mr holmes a wee bit
from your moniker I can guess that you have been(or are still) living in Taiwan..as 新竹市 is on the west coast...
from the way you write I can infer that you're definitely not a native English speaker (things like "and you are even not from" "it sounded like that he" etc..also you say you know German grammar and idioms rather well, so you are likely to be a German!)

and just for you ...who tell you that the guy(s) who is/are writing the NFOs are the ones who did the job? they might as well just be the weakest link of the team... *yes*

Well, that's the most funniest and interesting interpretation of my nickname. What if I tell you that it derived from Hebrew language?
And what if I tell you - Mr. Holmes - that I am a member of AudioZ since Nov. 2009 and had posted 48 comments since then?
So, it looks like that Mr. Holmes did not do a complete job here. Also don't you think it is a little bit lame to google for other people's nicknames and trying to undress them here? What happen to this forum?? How about we google for all nicknames here and trying to find out the people's identity? What a funny game...
Anyway, I think we are all not born to be Mr. Holmes and maybe better go back to our instruments and make some good music. :)
BTW: my comment to AiR above closed with "Just my 10 cents". Hope that was humble enough.
(And sorry that my writing did not match your "coolness" requirements)

"2 cents" would have been humble.

Btw, tell us what YOU wanted to insinuate with your :
"First, if someone opens an account here with the login “QUADRA” does not mean at all that he is the QUADRA from ASSiGN. I also can open an account with QUADRA. So don’t get too excited here please."

Is this your cordial manner to say that Mykal is not who he's supposed to be ?
Then calm down a bit, and we will welcome you in a better way.

So to avoid any misunderstanding, it might have been more appropriate to post your first comment in one of those topics you're referring to.
    Just my 1 cent...
