The Ableton push 2 & the Akai apc40 mkII are both great controllers imho.

That been said what would you guys want to see on an Ableton push 3 & the Akai apc mk3 ?

Would an integrated interface for the push 3 be a good idea like the machine mk3 ?

Would a keyboard version of the push controller be nice ? like the N.I series of keyboards,
/ perhaps with less drum pads as the novation launchkey controllers so the price is the same with the push2 since it will have the keyboard added ?

For the akai apc40 mkII what would you like to see for the next upgrade /?
Would the included clip launch buttons benefit from being also velocity sensitive drum pads & a bit bigger?

Any ideas/thoughts/suggestions ? that you would like to share ?
(Summer namm 2018 is also close, but that does not mean that new versions are coming)

If they took out the 4 lower rows of pads and put motorized faders on them it would be awesome, AKA "Ableton push and slide"
EDIT: actually if they replace the upper 4 rows of pads with faders it would be nicer ;)

 

as a apc40mk2 owner myself i dont think we will see a mk3 version from akai any day soon because as far as i know, akai and abelton ended their partnership when abelton made push1.

 

Nah. Cuz I'm not making as much money as I was when Push 2 came out, so the upgrade would hurt like hell if I'm even able to do it lol

 

You sure about that? Who makes the Push 2?

 

I def want an Ableton Keyboard. 64 keys starting on A. Yes, 64 keys, not 61 (I know that's asking for a lot). I'm okay with 8 pads if they need space. As long as they're bigger than the pads on the Push. And of course, a synth-action, Fatar keybed. I want BOTH the pitch & mod wheel and the joystick. I want all the knobs to feel and rotate with the same resistance. I don't care for screens on Keyboards. I look at the damn computer but, throw in two of them thangs from the Push 2. Same $799 Price point.
