You seem to be grossly underestimating the importance of hair styles..

Would the Beatles have had success without the mop top.......I think not..

It is only by cleverly wearing this particular hair style that the sound waves are modified before entering the musicians lug thereby enabling them to hear and create what we now call the Liverpool sound...........without the hair it just wouldn't have been possible...

 

What are you talking about? I can't comment on the hairstyle because it's not clearly visible, but he looks hot and his beard is top tier, only could use one of those beard "jewelry" to build some Viking style.

But for the voice, meh. I don't think you can compensate it with his style, even if it had a little bit of Viking touch in it...

But there are better examples than yours. So many. Pretty much everybody in the Top Poop 10-20-50-100.

 

Andreas Kümmert won "The sound of Germany" a quite smilar format to American idols but with a blind audition, so that he wasn't just preferred because he's that sexy.

Fun aside, he mostly sings older blues songs with that special timbre. Even women forget about his weired look when they see him sing and perfom. You just forget about how he's looking when he starts to sing. I wish hím every success.

What really annoys me
is sitting in a bar seeing on a screen all that 20 or so year old "singers" that hardly sing but dance and show off their surgery-styled butts and plastic boobs. That's what I really hate about music business today.

BTW: isn't that a form sexual harassment?

 

knew a guy long time ago, rock guitarist.. his band had a midget as their front man..
with long blonde hair almost to the floor.. and a lazy eye that rolled in the socket..
he would do back flips on stage.. and the guy said the chicks were wild for midget love .... go figure..

 

ProTip: Stop hanging out in bars, watching TV.

 

I'm annoyed by singers who don't know what music is and think they can mask any defect by their voices.

I don't want to hear only vocals throughout the track. I want music.

I'm annoyed by anybody who has success

 

POP listeners' set of eligibility criteria is so low. Fulfilling them and being successful according to those yardsticks are so cushy.

 

yeah people should definitly use Melodyne instead

I don't think today's successful artists are a product of good luck or someone's influence or being in the know. Money in the music business is tight and no one will chime in an underserved cent to anyone. If an independent artist makes it to the surface, it is because they have worked their assess off for everything from studio booking to earning a "like" in social media. You may not like today's pop music trends or the way online presence boosts your image, but getting there is only reserved for the exceptionally hard worker or the exceptionally talented half-ass worker. Hopefully the extremely talented hard earner will stay on top.
