If I play a note with the sequencer and then overlap this note with another note this one is cutted off, it don't play for the lenght I have inserted in the sequencer...!

Someone have the same issue? :dunno:

Are you sure duskwings? Usually notes needs to be overlapped to play legato and yes, there are vatious keyswitches but they serve to switch between various types of legato...

what library do u use?most libraries have the legato mode set by default, then depending on the instrument there r different ways u can achieve it.
in a serious library for example, the software recognizes the legato when it s played by a violin or a cellwithout needing to setup the elegato mode,so when u input the notes in the midi editor u don t need to overlap them, otherwise the only result is that the last note partially covers the previous one.i think most libraries work this way,in my opinion u can avoid overlapping notes and just shorten a little the previous one.
usually the actual problem is with staccatos, trying to avoid the machine gun effect, where the best solution is writing the part using two different tracks alternating one note on each

I'm using Adagio Violins by 8Dio and notes needs to be overlapped otherwise sounds "normal", the problem is if I play a legato phrase the last note is partially omitted but the other notes works good...:dunno:

To address the partial coverage of the previous note when playing legato phrases, one workaround is to slightly shorten the duration of the previous note in the MIDI editor. This can help ensure that the legato transition between notes is smooth and seamless.

Additionally, managing staccato articulations to avoid the "machine gun effect" can be challenging. Using two different tracks alternating between notes is a common approach to achieve more natural-sounding staccato passages.
