I kept only the lead vocals and rewrote the full music.



This is the 1st track I share on this forum. As mentioned on the page, it's a bit special, because it's a remix about my obsessions, getting back to piano after many years of absence, and bury the ghosts of an old relationship that marked me deeply for life.

The funny story is when I recorded the spoken vocals. I had to act with different voices for playing the man and the woman.

(the start with the piano reminded me of native instruments una corda love that piano ) also nice use of strings,bass & (celeste/a) ?
once again it is great

 

I was searching for an intimate piano sound for the intro, something that sounds like be played next to you with lot of room ambience and mechanical noises, so I used the Steinway from Imperfect Samples.
The celeste sound is the keyed glockenspiel from Spitfire Labs.

An overtechnical, involuted and variation-aware tune I've heard recently in this forum. Splendid ... Thanks for sharing.

 

Loving this. Trippy and unpredictable. I like the sparse instrumentation, it adds to the haunting feeling and the tension created. But i'm a sucker for diminished "intervals" anyway. At 3:54 you fooled me hehe, i wasn't looking at the waveform, i thought you 'd take it all the way on an acid trip but it was only a snippet. Great job.
PS: I read your SC comment, imho, creating music can be -among many other things- salvation and absolution my friend. Welcome back after all those years of "exhile".
