Studio monitor isolation - Tennis Ball Isolation now Version 2

    after watching these:

    according to this guy foam is barely better than cardboard.

    The tennis balls simulate the $200 - $600 magnetic system's reaction.

  2. One can play pink noise through them 24/7 untill you burn through those 200 hours of opening up time, about eight days.

    I use the cascade noise burn in file, a combination of pink noise , white noise ,frequency noise bursts + multi-octave square sweeps.

  4. On larger desks such as Tridents and such introduce horrid reflections when using near field monitors because the surface area in front of the engineer/mixer is so freaking huge. Most anyone with a big old lump of mixer like that is sure to have mid fields as well as a big and beautiful Quested pair.

  5. Me too, but I fine tune it with my own fart samples...it cuts the time needed considerably 8=)
