My freshman year as a member at this here and sister site draws to its close. I can safely say I learned more in my first term over here than in my first year as a human being. Only 365 days ago I still had Pro Tools 8 LE and Flightsimulator 2004 competing for CPU time on my PC and now it's Pro Tools 12.5.0 and Drumsimulator 2. Great stuff for an oldtimer like undersigned. Then there's Waves Complete of course and a couple of other biggies I never thought I'd get a chance to get to try hands-on. DAW recording was still kinda alien to me but thanks to the products of efforts by R2R and other teams of renown, plus the kind and often funny support from you guys, learning the (g)ropes, I can now play comfortably about in a state-of-the-art studio, as the rather welcoming and increasingly inspiring environment for my musicianship. Put simply: this truly is a happy anniversary, and I wish us all a Happy New Year.
