Really? We must live in different worlds.

And Steve Duda is a super cool person, always super fast support within a few hours and never really made any big aggressive marketing campaigns (although he developed a synth that totally deserves that). Compared to all these sample companies and developers that recycle their samples or build another super vintage eq or compressor, Steve made something that changed the game for a lot of electronic musicians.
We need more people like that in this scene, not these fake marketing idiots like Cymatics or so.
(btw a cool interview from Steve Duda
    )

If you get Radiator's topology you'll get why it behaves the way it behaves: each knob (input and output) drives a separate amp. input kbob sets the input level for the first stage and output knob sets the input level of the output stage - this knob it's before the amp, not after.

Now, with output on 0 and input on +15 you hear distortion of the first stage + distortion of the second stage. When you start reducing the output towards -15, the output stage becomes clean (because you attenuate with the knob before the second amp) and all you hear is the distortion provided by the input stage (let's not forget is the emulation of a pre-amp, not a distortion unit). Just load the plugin in Soundtoys' effectrack and use the rack's in/out/mix knobs to properly adjust the levels.

What's the problem of putting some leveling plugin right after Devil Loc? Also you have Effect Rack with all that knobs of Mix/In/Output don't ya? It's a fantastic plugins when used in a proper way. For me personally that things it takes out maybe 1% of all it's goodness.

Interesting, but it's still a serious oversight.
Only that it unnecessarily complicates things. You have to toggle between the two plugins to control the volume, while other plugins like Slate's adjust the gain automatically. When you want to hear the original signal to make sure it's matched, you have to press not one but two bypass buttons. All of this sounds like simple stuff but it really hinders your workflow. And again, it's not like adding a master output knob is hard for these guys.

not only that but why the f don't they make the GUI better and allow for people to see at least up to 4 instruments on the screen at a time. It's horrible to work with

That was/is great of you to share, I used to be KVR regular/RAF (user name is Dean Aka Nekro on KVR).
I personally got tired of some of the drama always going on, A community which was far too big to keep up to speed in a way I find polight along with certain user#s that we're just always looking for trouble, As Meffy had gone there wasn't really a proper mod for keeping things straight when and/ore if needed...etc.
I really do miss KVR in many ways but I also feel that I can much better interact with people here, Not forget someone due to a smaller and far more friendly community.
Still if things are good over there again then I'd defo not hesitate to jump back in after a lengthy sabbatical but I wouldn't spend the sort of times there which at one point I was able to.
I'd be really shocked if there are none of the old guard around, So you have piqued my interest to make a return LFO,
If you know Me from KVR or I know you under a different name then I apologize for not realizing.
Muchos appreciated and all the best your way, Cheers :D

UAD compressors, easily. I own the Apollo twin, and have the manley variable compressor, the 1176 collection, and the Neve 33609. Yet I still find that the Glue, MJUC, waves CLA-76 and Eventide's Omnipressor, sound better. Now the UAD EQ's are stellar, the Pultac Passive, API, and Manley passive are nearly unrivaled in the vst world. With the exception being the Pro Q2.

    Another incredibly overpriced company.
Acoustic Grand Ensembles bundle - $598.
I'll leave that up to others to decide what other options we have for $598. Just think, you're at the gas station and some random guy just walks up to you and just hands you an envelope with 6 $100 bills in it and says "Happy holidays". Of course I'm going to race home, turn on the computer and log right into 8dio.com and make it rain there. *sarcasm intended*

I bet it's not a problem for them, maybe try dropping an email request to Soundtoys? Never know.
But seriously does it make you not using this plugin only because of this thing? Also you have a track volume knob when you can dial down these -3dB or something. I use it on daily basics and never felt it stops my workflow. Anyway, everyone works differently so can't deny it can be some troublesome.

You gotta check the Chandler Limited Curve Bender then. It beats Manley Massive Passive for me.

Good question, I would have the say that the worst are the ones I don't use, I pretty much test everything and the list of what i do not care for would be so long that I would have to put together a separate forum just so I can complain and get away with it, so much money wasted on crappy plugs, I could have bought a car instead

Old line from a dance\hip hop track, "Don't believe the hype, it's a sequel" which is how I feel about the plugs today, just copies of other companies work, what a waste!!
