Well, you can never have too many voices! And, the GAS is real!!

Man, I want that TI2 desktop really bad. I have the little SNOW. It's built like a tank and sounds great; wish it had more knobs though.

I love it when emulations came from the manufacturer itself. I wish Yamaha would do the same like Roland and Korg did. Anyway, my dad got me this:

I wish Yamaha would do an emulation for the FS1R. Always wanted one of those.

I'm the same way with the Yamaha Motif. I don't have one but there was one in the studio where I took my audio engineering classes in High School. Home was a pretty dead environment for me at the time and I was beefing with my parents a lot so I often stayed after school to be in the studio and play with the Motif and other cool keyboards. Cakewalk Sonar 6 was the DAW we used LOL. But I loved that thing. It's less about the sounds for me and more about the nostalgia. Because I was just 16 and despite everything bad that went on at the time I was a lot more carefree. It was a fun time no matter how bad it was. I was just a stupid kid who liked to tell jokes and score hoes. I didn't care. Now I'm older. I can't be doing that... I got bills to pay and a roof over my head to maintain
Even some of the most redundant things can become super important to you simply because of the sentimentality and nostalgia that comes with it.

I was on Roland cloud facebook page earlier this year and I asked if the JD-800/990 was going to be emulated, and they said yes. So hopefully they will follow through and get that 990 vst going.

Digitize/record noise from original gear , just several minutes, do several recordings with different samplerates, mix with its plugin replica. And use these noises for your vst. Mixing them digitally in daw will be mathematically correct, than in analog, or ad-da your vst version and mix with recorded noises will be like THRU INTERFACE. The best trick to make it sound like gear. Don't know 32k sounding, but mostly this sample rate is almost enough to listen to, but bad for working with, and aliasing was possible or so, don't know. Some of you should compare gear vs plugin, without saying "it is completely equal but a very huge difference", so I like to hear only small nuances maximum, because nobody cares mostly if not only we only. Just want know how close it to gear, not it is just another 90s VA emulation like any free digital synth made with synthedit, there are thousands of them

    F..k, when Roland will hire GUI-guys. :deep_facepalm:
It seems they stucked in the past. Still don't want to invest enough in plugs department.

I didn't get it for the most stupid reason possible: I think I have too many hardware modules already. :( You're right. And the price was only 150 euro with the vintage card... However, I have got S-760 which can pull quite a few nice tricks in the bass department, too. I bought it mostly for bass. ;)

Have a great x-mas! Cheers!

You wouldn't believe it and me neither, but I have one in the cupboard. One of the first ...errr... sound producing devices [? :)] I got. It's great for bashing mosquitoes.

Cheers Von_Steyr! Nice new avatar. I like it.
