Pick two opposing walls in the room you are in right now. Draw something on a piece of paper and tape it to the ceiling. or draw directly on the ceiling. Place it anywhere in the middle of the ceiling.
Imagine the two walls you picked are N and S.

Walk to your 'north' pole..... now walk to your 'south' wall, what do you see?

These types of sites are always at the top of the google search lists for anything related to science or space. Lot's of different sites with science & space in their website names, all presented to you first in google, all repeating the same stuff, never deviating from the official narrative. A bit like Snopes, who claim to be the voice for the internet when it comes to 'fact checking'. These types of sites are always towing the 'official' line, never deviating. Most people just take what these sites say as gospel, and never ask any questions. Luckily there are critical thinkers out there who drill down below the surface, because it's naive to just accept something without questioning it.

Would love to see a section of those plans where they account for curvature .
Water is an interesting one.
So did you watch the frozen Utah lake video? you did watch the part where the wife walks down from a near by hill with the light on the whole way to ensure the light source never dipped to account for curvature? How is that a mirage? The curvature in the calculator is 20 feet the hill she was on was above that, I don't remember by how much, but the sole purpose was to ensure the light source NEVER disappeared from the new Nikon that adjusts for curvature.

What part of ceiling = firmament don't you understand?

Actually they calculated the distance (there is a software) which is pre-programed with algorithms with the curvature of the earth.
Then with the given length they built it to the destination..

Why did the light source never disappear from that camera?
camera, 30 inches high on the frozen lake so you type in 2.5 into that curvature calculator and 7.53 miles away
light source was walked down from a hill higher that the curvature of I assume the math is right?.....20.8667 feet

light source is then placed on the same piece of ice as the camera
