ReBirth emulates two Roland TB-303 synthesizers, a Roland TR-808, and a Roland TR-909 drum machine all at once. Each of the emulated devices has its own pattern selector, a feature the original devices are lacking. This allows fast switches between different musical sequences, and re-programming the TB-303 for playing different notes, for instance, is rendered unnecessary. This feature has been adopted in some of Reason's devices. ReBirth also features mixers, a pattern controlled filter (PCF) and some of the standard effects in software synthesizers like delay, compressor and distortion.
The program also supports user modifications, which may replace the samples in the drum machine emulations and modify the GUI.[4] There are four modifications included in the ReBirth installation by default (though the default ReBirth GUI seems to count as a modification as well).

The virtual knobs and controls can be assigned to physical counterparts via MIDI, so knobs, modulation wheels, faders and other performance controls available on keyboards and modules can be used to shape the software sound.

• It *is* a beta... use at your own risk... i.e. don't install just yet if you're in the middle of something, and if you do maybe do a backup first.
• In future there'll be just "Repro" and it'll install both R1 and R5 -> there will not be individual products containing only Repro-1 or only Repro-5
• Repro-5 unlocks with same serial number as Repro-1, otherwise runs in demo mode (there's no temp serial)

guitarix is a virtual guitar amplifier for Linux running on Jack Audio Connection Kit. It is free as in speech and free as in beer. The available sourcecode allows to build it on other UNIX-like systems, too, namely for BSD and for MacOSX.

guitarix takes the signal from your guitar as any real amp would do: as a mono-signal from your sound card. The input is processed by a main amp and a rack-section. Both can be routed separately and deliver a processed stereo-signal via Jack. You may fill the rack with effects from more than 25 built-in modules including stuff from a simple noise gate to brain-slashing modulation f/x like flanger, phaser or auto-wah.

Your signal is processed with minimum latency. On any properly set-up Linux-system you don't have to wait more than 10ms until your sound is processed by guitarix.

The demos below are 100% guitarix without any other amps, cabinets or stompboxes in the chain.

In applications such as audio denoising, music transcription, music remixing, and audio-based forensics, it is desirable to decompose a single- or stereo-channel recording into its respective sources. To perform such tasks, we present ISSE - an interactive source separation editor (pronounced "ice").

ISSE is an open-source, freely available, cross-platform audio editing tool that allows a user to perform source separation by painting on time-frequency visualizations of sound. The software leverages both a new user interaction paradigm and machine learning-based separation algorithm that "learns" from human feedback (e.g. painting annotations) to perform separation. CrossOver is a plugin to split an incoming signal into several (at most 4) frequency ranges. It can be used to build your own multiband effects within a modular (sub)host environment. V2.7 was a major upgrade that added support for up to 7.1-channel surround and the ability to analyze audio and the audio parts of video files offline for their BS.1770-4 Integrated Loudness, EBU R 128 LRA, highest reconstructed peak level, and number of reconstructed peaks above 0 dBFS. The meter will graph the BS.1770-4 Integrated Loudness and peak swings of the CBS Loudness Meter as a function of time, and can display a histogram of the BS.1770-4 Integrated Loudness.

Since V2.7, several bug-fix releases occurred. Windows V2.9.6 works with Windows Vista/7/8/10; It is not compatible with Windows XP and earlier. We will continue to make v2.0.8 available for Windows XP users. Mac V2.9.6 works with macOS 10.12 Sierra and earlier versions.
