This is so funny how they take another 200 euro for features, which should be in the DAW by default.

And all those "updates" again looks like "S1 wannabe".

When S1 will update their "MIDI-stuff-areas" and add something like "track templates", Cubase will be forgotten forever.

Not "mostly", but only. S1 has everything from the update from its first version - automation features, 64bit, fckng browser, "add FX directly to the audioevent" etc. etc. etc.

I think u miss understand or are not comprehending what you see and what is happening around you Lala your s1 short sightedness is blinding you without cubase you wouldn’t have s1 it’s the vst sdk that s1 was built off and this ain’t 64bit it’s 64bit double when you pull your head from the sand and open those eyes you will understand the hype the features are very cutting edge cubase leads and everyone else follows there tail including the programmers of s1

    Sounds like Steinberg's employee :hillbilly:

Anyway, we know that the main dev of S1 are former Cubase's dev. But it doesn't matter, and what really matter is the result. Cubase want money for nothing, while S1 making their updates(which almost always are really updates with huge new features and improvements) for free during x. versions. And even after main updates they taking not too much. As I said earlier - when S1 devs will make things in midi/kontakt libraries areas better, and when they make something like "track templates+import data from project", Cubase and others will be "deadmen" .

And about "leading". 9 and 9.5 updates are literally "S1 wannabe", what means that Cubase isn't "leader" anymore. I don't want to say, that to implement great features from other DAWs is a bad idea(actually it's a great idea), I just saying that Cubase isn't leader long time ago.

I use cubase 9 pro and studio one 3.5 and i own a presonus 192 interface and i can tell you that cubase 9.5 works better for me and S1 lags in midi but in audio is really great. I didn't pay for the cubase update so it was free and it solve a lot of the problems of version 9.30. best update but i would love to see a plugin like Fat channel xt in cubase.

Reaper has used 64bit internally since it started, that's 12 years ago.

So who is leading and who is following, lol.

If Stainberg spent money which they 've spent to marketing for developing, Cubase could've be a little bit closer to Studio one. :hillbilly:

This is funny how retarded people fight what´s best for others.. Just use what´s best and suits for you, and keep your mouth shut.
It´s like comparing dicks, yet some girls like big and others small :bleh:

Well it wouldn't hurt Studio one to move a lot closer to Cubase either.

I own Studio one but theres enough things about it that i dislike and i dont use it anymore.

No track templates, shit routing abilities, no osc support and they have this weird desire to make the mixer just a digital version of their hardware consoles.
