New 64bit floating engine, double the number of insert slots :woot:
New automation editing, zoning 2.0, halion sonic se3, new looks for certain plugins, direct offline processing and more...
Finally you can have the control room meter permanently in the right zone.

This is the update that 9.0 should have been, very nice.

Definitely gonna upgrade next month, been too long hanging with C7.5.
Has the price came down? I recall that it used to be 249€ and now it´s 199€, correct me if i´m wrong.

IMO it offers the fastest workflow, the best mixer, CONTROL ROOM, midi and automation options. It doesnt hold your creativity back.
    It just works for me.
Also you can import your projects from cubasis to cubase.

For anyone who actually has the update.

Bezier automation curves, do they work for midi tracks as well ?

Just automation tracks data, not midi data.

Yes you can use it on midi tracks but only for automation data

Still no multitouch support. And the right zone browser and bezier curves are features the devs should 've implemented 10 yrs ago. Ahh wth i will upgrade lol.

Reaper is cheaper. License of reaper is cheaper than cubase update.
Justin, it is time to implement 80 bit engine! Your 64 bit float got too old many years ago! Cubase will see this only in 2032 or later)

They really listened to its user base this time, also the graphic engine is also new, they claim its even smoother now.
