Here is something that haunted me for, at the very least, my whole life.

I first tried Toontrack EZdrummer in the Drums VST Departement but after a while i wasn't very pleased with the results. So i shifted over to XLN Audio Addictive Drums 2. Tought it was more "useable".

After submiting one of my song's remake on this site, people liked the snare from EZdrummer over the one within my "own" drumkit.

So i need your help (That's right, you, viewing this thread).

Here is a comparision track between EZdrummer's "Drumkit From Hell" drums & my custom made drumkit created with AD2.

Which one would fit best for Industrial Metal Songs?

    1:07 sounds closer to NIN

To me AD2 is more suitable for this genre.

I go with the AD2, because it has a sense of industrialness :hillbilly: Boomi and dry drums. I would make the AD drums snare punch more
The high end in the Ezdrummer is not suitable for industrial genre.

Sometimes more is just more .

Why decide for one if you can have both?

And in the DAW you can precisely balance the volumes of every single kit piece to get the most out of it.
