Can anyone ID this tune from my uni days back in 1998 please?

hmm, i think the whole track was looped by the dj at work
so i installed shazam app on my phone and tried to look for it but it didnt catch
the track ID due to ''missing track signature ''and thats why shazam failed to ID IT
,so i went to other parts and Scanned the track again but no success there

the track itself was okay for its 1998 sound
it look like the dj was trying to impress the crowd with his work
all good fun will stuck in your memory for sure

 

My first thought was way out west - drive by, but that's apparently not it.

Highly unlikely.

 

I think the singer is Jan Johnston. One of her first hits was Flesh and then later she did Calling Your Name. Almost positive it's her. Check out her discography. She definitely fits the time period. This is probably a bootleg so that's gonna make it a bit more difficult to ID.
