I just purchased a used maschine mikro. when i tried to register it asked me for my computer password so that NI service center could access my HD. what I'm worried about is that ive been using a cracked version of massive, battery, absynth, kontak5 and so on. I know i should buy them but i cant afford it right now. My question is if i allow the service center to acces my HD will it notice my cracks? if so is there a way to register maschine with out ruining everything?

Welcome to the best audio forum on the planet! As far as I've seen around the forum quite a few guys have a mix of legit and cracked NI software including two Maschine versions one legit and the other cracked running at the same time. It appears that NI are aware of users doing this but don't do anything about it. My Service Center has a laundry list of software that needs to be registered with a handful that are. My computer is fine, my software is fine so I wouldn't worry about what the Service Center sees and what NI knows about your setup. Obviously, I don't have to tell you to leave the listed software alone in the Service Center

welcome If you are registering Hardware for the first time, I would suggest you to do the following:

1. Backup your main registry key (HKLM\Native Instruments) right click export (name it crackednireg)
2. Backup your 2nd registry key (HKLU\Native instruments) - || -
3. Backup your XML files (c:\program files\native instruments\sevice center)

4. Delete all non legit libraries\instruments keys that appear in above registry in the 1. and 2. points (go to regedit.exe, find the cracked ones, and just delete the reg keys)

5. same for cracked XML files just move them to another folder

6. Now run service center, nothing but legit stuff should appear.
7. Register your HW.

After reg is done, double click the exported crackednireg files to add the regs back, copy the XML's back and voila problem solved. Whenever you register new hardware, etc do updates I do the same procedure just to stay on safe side.

Yeah I run legit and cracked stuff from unlocked maschine and all is well.

 

I run both, legit and k'd lib's NI stuff, and have no problems,... (on osx).. i wouldn't panic..

 

Currently i have 2.6.5 update unlocked looking to unlock 2.6.7 would this method work?

 

Just need some clarification has anyone tried this on the latest maschine software 2.6.9? I tried on earlier versions such as 2.6.7 and when I copied back in my .xmls and reg file all my ni expansions ask to be activated

 

I bought Maschine Jam, knowing I would be running nothing legit, so I never registered it. Now I'm free to use any content and load all updates without their stupid Native Access.

 

Is the 2.6.9 release for Windows cracked already? I thought it was only for OSX.

 

yea i registered it and shouldnt have but my question could i crack the latest update so i can use my expansions from NI

 

not that i can find im trying to use the old cracks with the new update

 

There is no cracked release of 2.6.9 for Win yet. If you can crack it, please do so. Other wise you will need to wait for the cracked release or downgrade to a cracked version.

 

Guys, bought an MK3. Have a Mac OSX ElCapitan and using Logic Pro X.

Have cracked:

Battery 4
Kontakt 5
Massive
Reaktor 6
+ tons of 3rd party stuff and cracked libraries

If I'm understanding these posts correctly, I should never register it? Will it work? Can i get the MK3 to load my 3rd party stuff and cracked libs? Sorry for such noob questions I just got a little confused reading these posts on what to do. If I lose my organs and my Diamond Orchestra I'd be devastated.

AND NOW WE HAVE 2.6.10- IM STILL WAITING ON THE 2.6.9. WIN UNLOCKED SO I CAN ACCESS A HUGE LIBRARY, PLEASE ANYONE LET ME KNOW WHEN IT COMES AVAILABLE. NOW THAT WE HAVE A UPDATE IM SURE THE MAC PEOPLE WILL GET AN UNLOCK SOON BUT IM STILL WAITING ON THE OLD VERSION 2.6.9 WIN

 

Why are you yelling ? Caps is for yell... There is no native instrument release since many months for win... last release is 2.6.5.
I think you have to wait long long time...
