Hi

Im looking for a loop editor as a replacement for Propellerhead Recycle.

Essential feature: should be able to tag beats very precisely and finally save files as Apple loops/Acid loops with the tagging added.

I´ve looked a little at Izotope pHATmatik Pro but there´s not much information and it´s extreme expensive.... can anyone recommend this application for the job I´ve described above or could you point out an alternative?

personaly i stoped using recycle aswell, but that was after i made the jump to abelton from cubase5.1
i remember even in cubase i stoped using recycle since it was slowing down my flow - i instead started chopping my loops "on the fly" within cubase using the slice/cut tool. it can be really fast actually if you pratice it

sometimes i took more carre chopping a loop (more precicsly) if i wanted to make a "drumkit" outof it using the grooveagent

You can´t really convert into Apple loop in that application but thanks anyway

AFAICS you cannot convert the tagged loops to Apple loops in any of these applications but thanks anyway

I guess I need to switch to MAC if I want this feature and unfortunately that´s no option.
