Hi guys! I work in Logic X.
Instrument tracks have quantization functions to the grid. They help to keep synchronized your midi and to apply a "swing effect" if you need it.
My ideas is: can I use quantization and swing functions with audio regions? I mean to put at the start of the grid some samples I mean, and not manually?

Thanks for the reply but perhaps I mistake my question. I already know what flex time is, and often I use it to quantization from transients
Ok I'll try to be more precise:
Can I auto-adjust audio regions to the grid, like in this pictures?
(like quantization for midi notes)

 

Turn "flex" on for that track, and then quantitize, then check for minor adjustments.

- No, it has nothing to do with Flex markers / editing indeed.
I am scratching my head here to find this functionality in Keycommands Window (like maybe "Snap Region Start to Grid")
I just can't find anything.
I am afraid it's just not possible in LPX, which is a shame IMHO, i use it alot.
In Reaper, there is such a function and works like a charm.
