How to create such guitar tunes, that is very WAHish in Daw, if possible with any Guitar Vst or Fx.

Or you can tell any trick that can make such WAHish sound closer or such below.

    Thank you Guys :)

Need to know more about the source to help. Is it an actual guitar recording, or are you using a guitar VSTi?
Either way, really, there are WAH Pedals you can use for example in Amplitube and you can modulate a parameter (using automation) to achieve the effect of using a pedal. I'd use my Faderport to write the automation, but you could also hand edit if you didn't have some type of controller available. It's a ring modulation effect you are after, I believe.

Love thing, the majority of that is his fingers.

Just like Lightning and Wind in the trees does use a wah pedal in some places, so some of that is coming from his foot, still the majority of it is coming from his fingers.

See if your DAW has a guitar FX section or if you have a amp and pedal sim you have the tools. You can get a MIDI pedal board to control the FX, I use a Roland FC-300, there are nicer ones out there but if you want the cheapest one Behringer or Line6 probably make something for under a hundred bucks.

BTW I personally do not have the ability to sound like Joe Satriani.

You can probably get a decent new or used Wah pedal for around a hundred bucks anywhere, so if you play guitar, sit down, work it out and just do it the old school way, it will give you the best sound that your playing ability is capable of. I've had a Dunlop Crybaby for years and I think I paid less fifty bucks for it at a pawn shop for it years ago when you could buy gas for about a dollar a gallon.

Is there a VST that can make you play guitar like Satriani, Vai, Von Halen... not sure.

Thanks for your response mozee :) , i heard Satch used some Wah Pedal in Love Thing and read a comment on Youtube he used some Auto-Tune for Guitar in Wind In The Trees. And FYI i'm a superfan of Satch :phunk:

Far i can guess, may be it isn't possible to achieve accurate similarity of tune to these songs...

If i have to go for hardware stuffs other than Daw/Vst, i'd like to, but which Guitar & gears (If any needed) should i buy, like any guitar or just one among http://www.ibanez.com/products/u_eg_sig_series17.php?year=2017&cat_id=1&series_id=27 ?

Now i'm using Novation Launchkey MK 2 61, FLS, Live are my Daws, Guitar vst (many) and some Vst fx suite like Amplitude, Guitar Rig 5,TH3 etc.

If i have to buy Guitar/Amp/Pedal for such tunes which will be perfect pick ?

My budget is around $4600 (Hope i can get decent sound under this budget).

If that was my budget, and I wanted a real amp, I'd probably start looking at a Kemper profiling amp. I've never used one, but those who have it swear by it for achieving ALOT of different guitar tones.
Guitar wise, I'd be afraid to recommend because it is really a subjective thing in terms of what feels good/sounds best to the guitar player. The Ibanez is a good place to start, though I'm not a big fan. I use Jacksons, Deans, Gibson Les Paul, Fender Telecaster and others depending on what I'm after.
WAH Pedals are many and varied. The classic Cry Baby is a good starting point, but others like this one are very adjustable:

And this one is nice because it will switch on automatically whenever you put your foot on it. But that's more-so a live playing thing.

That thing looks just like the FC-100.
I stepped out of the Roland line and got a Rocktron MIDI Mate like 25 years ago or so. Testament to it's build quality, it's still going strong! I finally found an expression pedal that it works great with.

As far as guitars go, if you are just starting get something that is comfortable for you. Guitars are like underwear, just putting on a pair of Hanes doesn't turn you into Micheal Jordan (trust me I've tried it many times - never works.) You get what you like, what you can afford, what you are comfortable with, and work from there. It's going to take a while, even if you are a natural super prodigy it will still take a few years until you become fluent and a few more to get your own mojo going.

Lessons, especially for the first year or so help a lot more than an expensive guitar. If you already play an other stringed instrument you can cut down the lessons from a year to 6-8 months. If you just get an expensive guitar and try to figure it out on your own, you have a much higher chance of just having a very expensive wall decoration.

    That's pretty cool.

I've always been a Roland person for the most part on anything midi or synth based. Though I've kind of been taking detours in Yamaha land recently, I just understand the Roland stuff - though they most def. do not make them like they used to.

Here is some kid on a $250 Jackson Dinky covering Love Thing. The Wah is more obvious and its only on really strong at the start when he is noodling around the the top strings. You don't need a JS Sig guitar (unless you are JS and they are paying you to use it.)

Here an other guy on a Fender Custom Shop Strat and about $9000 gear on display. If you are just learning do think you'll miss the difference in tone?

I'm in the same boat here as far as their rack mount guitar processors go. I cut my teeth on an old GP-16 which is also 25 years old and still going strong. Recently, I needed another processor and decided to make the GP-16 the acoustic guitar processor, and got a GP-100 for the electric guitar processor. It worked out really well because the 2 units are so similar in terms of editing patches, MIDI control program changing and parameter manipulation. Also you can do the 4 wire connection method which allows you to use the preamp in the amplifier as if it were a routable effect in the processor. You can place it anywhere in the chain. Plus you can control the channel switching and lead boost on the amp per patch. I'm not a big fan of tap dancing on pedals when I'm out playing live so this has been a real help for that.
Some people like pedals (mainly tone junkys), I've never been a fan due to the trouble changing sounds when you're out live.

Spend around $400-500 for a decent used guitar before you waste that much money on a skill you might not stick with. The quality of an electric guitar doesn't increase that much once you hit around $800 new.
VST ampsims will be fine if you have decent monitors before you get a tube amp.

Well, i've been playing my Ibanez Archtop since 2007 and Gibson LPC since 2010.

Right said, first i have to attain the skill & speed on low budget, as i get improved and become more fluent then i can invest in more expensive ones those suit my tastes.

those two are not even in the same league. One guy barely learned one scale and the other is quite a bit more accomplished.
Maybe you just hate guitar all together.

here's some more of that high screechy guitar like Slash:

Believe it or not you can shred on a Les Paul Custom. Proof? Internet famous Rob Chapman, on a Les Paul Custom // Shred Wars //

The Jazz guys also play pretty fast on those and semi-hollow and hollow bodies, but personally I would leave that to them. Pain is not my thing.

You have the tools you need, if you can read music and have proper technique playing those songs in a manner should be within your range of skills.

I am a big fan of the LePou plugins.

Not sure what DAW you use, most of them come with something at least to get you going. If you don't have any pedal and have a preference for digital or daw control it might get you started. When it comes to pedal and cabs I am a bit split. I really do like my real pedals and amps, but when at home and just messing around (which is the majority of the time.) I just don't see the point of all that setting up, plugging in etc... and I don't need the volume.

agreed. Once the pickups and electronics are upgraded, almost any guitar will sound decent.
Korean made Peavey, Hamer, etc. are some of the best bang-for-your-buck guitars around $300 used. With a $125+ upgrade in parts, you have a tone machine.

    Guitarist here! Some tips:

If you have 4600$ to spend on guitar gear, and you don't know what to get... You probably should get nothing. Most guitar players (or musicians in general) with enough experience under their belt know exactly which kind of sound they want, and what they need to get it (based in experience with previous stuff). My point is that you'll probably have more success actually playing and improving as a musician than spending top dollar.

Don't get me wrong, it's cool that you want to invest in great gear. It's just not the answer, and I'll show you why:

Notice how the guy sounds with camera audio, a crappy practice amp, and more importantly. His fingers. 5000$ worth of gear won't make you sound like Satch. Even if you spend them on a Marshall JVM410HS and a Ibanez JS.

Bottom line: Be yourself. Go to a store, try some guitars, try some amps. Learn what you like and what you don't first hand, not because someone on the internet told you basswood is crap. Kids nowadays buy 3-4000$ custom guitars without having a single clue about what they actually like. Just what some Joe/Jane Doe told them it's the landmark for the style they like. I mostly play blues and rock and I hate Gibsons. In fact, I use Jacksons.

If you want it as a studio tool for other people to use, then get a Kemper or a Revv Generator if you want a real amp. All the tones you can eat. If you play through monitors with virtual VSTs try Mercuriall's Spark. I bought it recently and I love it for what it does
