We had no money so we decided to record our songs ouselves. This was recorded with zero budget. Just a microphone and an old notebook. Guitars and bass were recorder straight into the computer, then processed using amplitube 4. Drums were made using EzDrummer 2.

I like your music! There is not a single word I understand but I like gritty punk like yours
In terms of production: Don't mix with headphones. The mix is dry, narrow, the drums are flat and lack punch, the bass almost inaudible, they keys also, and your high mids are disproportionally high represented.

 

It's fine punk is supposed to be a bit messy.

Though it might not be apparent to the kids today, punk is very tolerant in the capture and production phase, the only requirement is that it has a message - obvious or not - it not happy sunshine - everything is always fine kind of music. Outside of that, even if you use a cabinet covered in turds and powered by a three legged hamster and record the entire thing on a fisher price etch-a-sketch its fine. As long as the message comes through.

For punk you don't need much money - unless you want to be taylor swift punk - at which point its not really punk music anymore.
