    Ahoy ahoy,

    I just bought a patchbay off of ebay. The make is Audio Accessories, but what is the model? It's a 2x48 with bantam jacks, that I can see. Also, there seems to be some breakout box prewired to it. What is that, and what connectors does the patchbay have? Punchdown?

    Yeah yeah, probably should have asked all that before buying but the thing was offered for 40,- € as buy now and an Audio Accessories patchbay for 40,- is a no-brainer no matter what :)

    Looks like an even older model perhaps. Note the cable strap retaining bar at the back, and the leaf/screw contacts at the back are bare metal, not encased in plastic etc like the newer ones. Didn't get any decent resolution shots of any company stickers or plates and no full pics of this mysterious breakout box :)

    I think it's older.
    Yeah there really is no reason why, just like to play mind games on how to integrate this thing into my studio etc. But there really is no harm done if I start the process when I have it in my hands.
    Man, that's something you never realize or value if the only place you usually come across patchbays like this are professional studios and patchcords aplenty are just a given. I just googled for some patchcords with bantam jacks and started to cry a little. I think I'm gonna solder them myself.
    @wuzzle yeah, I think so too. I wonder if it's switchable...
    @philou72 thanks man :)
    @Von_Steyr yeah, until this thing is on my desk I will not stop wondering whether I got scammed.
