    Hey guys
I'm new to this website and i have a question about noise with the lexicon plugins. So i have inserted a lexicon reverb on a send and in the master channel i have increased a lot of volume (more than i would normally do) so then i realize that there's a reverb noise all the time without any signal passing through.

This happen too with some other plugins like H-delay (with the analog button turn off), Decapitator (a strange noise like electricity),Tubesaturator, among other plugins...

is it a kind of watermark or is it normal?, this hapen with few plugins, is there a way to fix that?

    Best regards!

This is how analog devices are actually works. Analog gear is shitting up the sound with electricity hum caused by tubes/transistors and etc. This is normal and in most plugins you can disable this by switching "Analog" button.

i just inserted 3 lex verbs even 1 in the master and absolutely no noise occurs. Nothing to hear at highest volume, nothing to see at analyser down to -144dB, not even with a maximizer plugin in master output. So, it's definitely not the plugins' fault - how could it?
Maybe you have some analog input causing the noise and the reverb reacting on it?

Is the noise gone when you mute the reverbs?

Weird. Maybe it's some sort of automatic dithering thing going on? Or just random noise put there to emulate analog gear (like in the case of the analog button in H-delay you mentioned) which always has some noise present, some of it literally attributable to the background noise of the universe originating from the big bang.

Whatever it is with Lexicon, if it's inaudible, it's inaudible and you shouldn't worry about it. AFAIK cracked plugin watermarks are an urban myth.

    What is dithering:
