not to come across the wrong way because i like the music, but isnt life a very limited adventure NOT endless? (it last the length of time you are alive? ex. of how long the adventure might possibly be 87 years 3 months 2 weeks 5 days 3 hours 34 mins and 3 sec i would call that far from "endless")
reason i even say this is because the way life feels to me is that , it is so very limited and short i have to optimise each second,each moment of how i spend it to get the most of of it, each small victory at a time, BUT if it was endless i would think the opposite way and it would change every aspect of how i live what i do how i think etc. if it was endless i would approach life as no need to get thngs done aspap ,no need to work as hard as possible becuase you have eternity to aqccomplish something

there was no such thing as me before i was born, because the word "me" is a shortcut for trillions upon trillions of living cells assembled in complex way, there will be no such thing as "me" (only as a memory) once i die, ( wish it worked different though, im not happy that reality works that way.)
we use language that is symbolic the words are not actual. they are shortcuts.
like "table" is not "one object" it is trillions upon trillions of atoms arranged in specific way we shortcut in thought to say as if it was one object
a human is same we dont exist anywhere as 1 single thing , we exist literally as trillions of objects we shortcut down to think about as 1 thing. this makes a afterlife a concept that cannot work at all.
if it was possible for a collection of trillions of objects to have a "soul", then could new york have a soul or russia or the atlantic ocean?
the concept of "soul" came to be before we found out the truth of what we are and how things work.
just like "thor" is not thunder and lightning, instead complex interaction of natural forces.

the trillions of cells IS what "me" means, what i am saying that is WHAT the word is talking about , the only thing that makes the word "me" have meaning.

if i said " this configuration of trillions upon trillions of cells is having a great day"

or if i say I am having a great day!"

both are identical with no difference other than using "me" or "i" is a shortcut.

Yes, "limitless adventure"... It might rather be the "adventure" that "limitless" refers back to. And then it somewhat takes on a message of that we should not let ourselves be restricted in ways we might not need to. Quite inspirational. Although I like your proposal for a song title too "Life is a boring sloggy limited adventure".

 

Unfortunately life is not an adventure, now that is something I know from experience.
If it is limitless or not I don't know, and neither does anyone else.

 

MMJ2017, your definitions of 'me' and 'I' are missing an important, some would say metaphysical, aspect: the personality. The person is not the mass of bones, arteries, organs and the rest that makes up the, so-called physical body. When I refer to 'me' I'm referring to how I think, how I interract with others, how I look and dress. If I want you to know that I think the patties in the Sausage & Egg McMuffin are way too salty and it just wouldn't work if they weren't so salty, the part of 'me' that has decided that is my mind not my physical body. I don't think my mind is in my physical brain, just as a thought is a vibration on another frequency than the physical. It's real and it exists, but it's not on the densly physical plane; we create, access and send thoughts in interractions on other frequencies.

Oh, the OP's music , well the first one is on a loop which makes it boring; the second one bored me too. But there is an exciting sense of innovation along the lines of Boards of Canada, who also bored and anoyed me too, but I think i kind of 'get it.'
