@momo looks awesome! I’ve done some digging around but no luck. I’m also having issues with some of the coloring with the patches. I can’t seem to keep the changes to the .dll file and I don’t know how to get certain lines of code set as you did in your patches. Perhaps a tutorial video when everything is done? I’m sure LOTS would appreciate that, I know I would! Keep up the great work, I’m so excited for this!

Thanks for all the hard work Momo. I've tested the mod on my system and it looks great. Fl should've looked like this from the start. But just my opinion, could you flip the colors on the mixer meters. Blue on top instead of blue bottom. The darker color purple gets lost at the top of the mixer. Other than that it looks damn good. Keep up the good work.

@albackwardz have put the blue up top on the mixer
will try work-out why the purple is not seen as much as it could be in the next update.

Yeah maybe I’m not doing something right but whenever I save the .dll file and replace the directory one it still just defaults to original colors. Any idea why this happens? The steps I take are I open FLEngine_x64 with x64dbg, then I run it, then I go to the patches icon, open one of your patches, I click on the list and it brings me to the code. Then I untick the boxes, then original code appears. At this point the patch code looks different than the original code. Did you add more code in your patches? Or just the color codes? Because it looks like with your patches I see a few lines that are consolidated into one?? Did you add this? I have zero experience with coding but I can learn steps quickly. I even tried to compare and replicate your lines but just don’t understand the proper steps required so I’m just waiting on a tutorial video from you. Thank you momo. Also I forgot to ask, but were you able to find the default mixer color?

Sounds like your just there ,the color code changes the code when added so when unticked it wont look the same
but some-times the line placement changes i.e when patches are added from one dll to a other if one dll has been modified
like mine was ,then the default version could have other code there where the color code is in my copy when the patches are added again..

Make sure to tick fill with nops before repatching the dll as this can give errors
best thing to do is just mess around with it till you work it out and ill send you a few snapshots
to look at ok.im new to all this as well so you could find better ways of doing things
im not ever sure what im doing most of the time lol.
    ===
Good news and bad i can change the color of the blocks just about :invision:
bad news is ill have to work out what will look nice,
It's a hit and miss with this as i don't know what color goes where or even how to make the color i want so will try a few things and when i find one that looks ok ill let use know.
some-times its easer to find a color you like with luck then add that color
or something that goes with it to a other part of the program that you know how to change the color in
so not sure what will change when this is over,
looks like thats every thing now

Wow that’s amazing! So awesome how you are bringing this long awaited concept to life momo. I can’t wait to see the final product! And the blocks look great!

By the way momo, when you load the patches into x64dbg and the little message pops up saying “some patches are already applied, do you want to remove them?” Do you say yes or no?

Hi try yes remove patches and then you can click on the new patches on the list and untick them
to see where the color code is to add your own color
but if no patches are added in the info box try no
just made my first line of code after 5 hrs trying to work out how this block color works
i found a way to add some new code so this is beta test noob code take 1.
Don't have a clue what i did on this blue version the frist blocks pic was just changing one number
and was easy it got hard after that,

ill have to try redo the mixer green tabs sometime but the inside box is hard to change without flicker errors,

Here ya go have added some info ,they work ok on the default x64 dll to recolor the mixer
so its user errors your having at the moment this is the best i can do ok.
These color patches won't work on any other version so its back to square one with any updates.
you know there is a easy way to recolor the mixer its just left click on it in fl chouse a color
then save it as a template in your template folder.
will add some more patches for other parts when there sorted out.

Best tip i can give anyone that wants to ever do there own color
is to start with the blocks as there is no 100% way to get the color you want
least the way iam trying it.if i can't change them now the way i want ill end up having to
redo other parts so they blend in better, but as bob called it happy accidents
its more work but wort it in the end if you think it will look better.

Some bad news the block code i added to get the color has messed up the channel rack
when you drop a wav file onto it to add a new channel and turn on or add blocks
its gets meesed up with random repeats ,will look into it f.f.s. :deep_facepalm:

i just checked the default version on my pc and its doing the same thing
can someone check this to see if it works ok for them,
im at a lose here im not using a patched or keygen copy when testing this eader
and there not loops im adding just kicks claps ect.
    ==========================================
i now see use loop points in set on by default when i add a new wav
the kick and hat are also set like this,i don't know what i did :trolls:
as it was never set like this before ,unticking them fixed it anyways.

Silly question, but are you sure you dont have "Use Loop Points" enabled in the Sample Settings window? I tried to mimic the same issue but everything seems to work fine, also i was making beats last night (using test version 2)!!

I just worked out what was going on i was trying the one-shot Battery Kits
and they all have loop points set in them by default what i never new about.
for some reason when there loaded or droped into the channel rack
Use Loop Points comes on its self and you have to untick it,sounds like a IL bug but will have a look at it
as i dont think thats the way it should work.was about to have a brake-down lol ,Thanks for help.

•Use loop points - When the sample contains loop points (see Sample view below),
select this option to make the sample loop. The play position starts at the sample
beginning and when it reaches the loop-end point,
jumps back to the loop-start point and repeats this process while the note is held.

update had read sample tempo information set to on in
general / advanced settings / im a nood :facepalm:lol noob
