So I just learned about this site and really torrenting in general, ive been trying to test out some plugins by just downloading the free (mac) download links. But im just getting .RAR downloads. never the actual plugin. Am i doing something wrong or do i have to get Usenet.nl?

Also how shady is usenet? im hearing bad things online, like being charged twice, not being able to cancel, i want to buy the monthly subscription but thats not even an option given when signing up.

Dunno about the other stuff but a RAR is just a compressed file like a ZIP but with better compression ratios, to extract files from the RAR archive you'll need a program like this.

 

Thanks, what do you use? i downloaded a file from one of the free ones, and i scanned it with totalvirus and it said it had a trojan horse

 

you need winrar to unpack rar or zip files

 

zip files automatically unpack just by clicking on them on my mac, but i dont trust these downloads, do you use the free links?

i Had Usenet for the free month trial and its ludicrously fast!

But i couldnt find the correct newsreader software to find anything to do with an audioz release....

I hate those stupid usenel links at the bottom of those peeplinks coz theyre useless!

They say to join em and when you do youd expect to then see what you were trying to download after joining right!
