1st off... this is not a complaint. I run both OSX and Windows 10 and get along fine with them. 2nd... I have absolutely NO idea of the process of 'cracking'... only its way above my payscale(!). This is just a personal observation. Seems to me there is getting to be fewer cracks for the OSX plugin. I'm assuming it is a whole different ball game from the Windows side (which I also assume might be easier... and more popular, hence...scene releases come faster). A lot of the plugs written in both platforms... tend not to get released on the Mac side. But, I'm talking the major ones (Positive Grid, Helix, all the audioUTOPIA stuff, etc...) I'd like to think the Mac end is just put aside to tackle later... but not gotten around to. The openssh method was great... but I guess the security developers changed their strategy nulling that method. I am perfectly happy doing the (ahem) 'try before you buy' technique on the Windows side... but was just wondering if anyone else has noticed this...
Regardless... I tip my hat in thanks to all the teams for the hours of sweat and coffee they must go thru everyday... your hard work is truly appreciated from this here party!

It does seem that the pendulum has swung back to Windows for the moment. Oh well... Miss Hex and Pitch badly in any case.

I wish the world would lose interest in Mac. Looks like only a pathetic 3.7% of computer users in the world are on Mac. Look here

Open terminal and run this command:

    sudo spctl --master-disable

type your user password and it's done.

    To answer your question, yes.
As a mac user, do I care? No. Because I have more than enough to produce a good song. I will be dropping my 2017 singles collection in about 2 more months... and it's gonna have at least 40-50 tracks to it because with all this stuff, there is no reason one's productivity should be at an all time high. I'm ok with saying goodbye to mac warez for a while. The next goal is expanding my boundaries, improving my sound quality, and maybe even learning a 14th instrument. I can get a lot of my work done with just the built in plugins Logic Pro X and some of the other stuff I have.

    Happy music making, folks :mates:

Only users who have never used a Mac can say these bullshit. Users who have tried both do not want to ever have to deal with windows computers. That says it all.
And then, so to make an example, you ever wondered why are all video tutorials released by sound professionals are on Macs and not windows? Have you ever seen a video tutorial of Softsynth, Daws or anything else made on a windows computer?
So you're saying that windows is better only because it is used by most people? :hahaha:
