Never tried it. Does it sound closer to a real drum kit than what's been mentioned so far? If yes I'll give it a try.

Thanks for the advice, but I started out thinking I would choose between the two, and I'm going to be strict with myself. I know they are both good, so it's a matter of which I get on better with I think!

what style works best for you ? @Sylenth.Will.Fall then ill throw some Libs at ya ;) you can get close to that but i promise only way to get the ITS 100% Real is Micing a drum kit and recording it lol

 

Done Right you can still get a real close sound with a Sampler like Superior... just have to play it like a Drummer or Program it that way ;)

 

Whilst I'm still sitting here waiting for that library to come down, I'm beginning to realise it might be quicker to save up 5 grand to buy a decent DW kit!

Have a listen to this and tell me do these drums sound fairly real to you? (listen from about 2.50 onwards)

No i dont think thats a real kit lol...maybe if it was re sampled ;) I believe the original song was Steve Gadd on drums ... That guy is a Legend Jazz player ;)

I have library 1 and 2. I know I don't need 3 and 4 (not interested in 5.1 7.1 or 11.1. what about 5,. the bleeds. do I need those?
